Chris&Mara, Dani&Chris... sorry, it sucks having to wait and not knowing.

Fred has so much reading I doubt he'll get caught up with the august thread while on vacation (and then have time to reply... he'd need a full page to respond even if he kept it short).

Found out that the releasing date for my fiancee's passport is Jan 22, one month from the original application. Since the passport is reuired for the medical which is required to be completed a week before the interview... this will cause a delay, BOOOOOOO, but I think in reality it'll only be about a week's difference... I plan to aim the interview date for Feb 6th, it's a friday.... and then I can fly out of the states on wednesday and arrive in the phils thursday.... or so I plan. I'm pretty confident about that being the actual date... I'll probably call this sunday and try to schedule the interview date again, hopefully my fiancee will have a piece of paper stating she can schedule her interview date by then but I'm sure it'll be ready by then anyway.

ETA: As king I demand... NVC letters for all (even those who did not get a copy of their NOA2 yet... hey, it happens sometimes..)!!!

What do you mean about releasing date is Jan 22nd? and original application? Also, do you need to receive Packet 3 before scheduling the interview?

This waiting is wearing me down, nothing from no where, i'm tired of just waiting and not be able to do anything for this visa thing, i was hoping by the end of the last year, i had such big hopes and then big disappointments, i'm tired of waking up everyday with hopes and go to bed at the end with nothing, it is not fair for these people to do this to us, its just not, we are engaged, married, we also have relationships, we need our partners and we cant be with them, i dont want to wait anymore, i have no tears left to cry or something to hope for, i have no appetite to eat or any motivation to go on, i thought i'm strong, i dont like to complain after all i choose this way, i'm trying to stay positive but some days are really dark... :(:(

I understand your feeling, just 2 days ago i felt the same way as you did, your approval is coming shortly, hang in there!! before January ends, you'll have your approval! maybe you can try calling USCIS today again and demand some answers from the supervisor and level 2 guy....

Fred is goingt o a birthday party with his family. He is busy catching up with lovey.

Mara and I were just talking about how frustrating it is with all this petition and visa #######. What else do we have to prove. The people in their customer service hotline are not even helpful. On top of that, you have to wait forever to get a live person on the line. Stupid, crappy, useless process!!! This is so aggravating. I honestly, feel so drained and left behind. All the more I can't function well. I want to have something to look forward to, but with all the horror stories going on and other people with similar timelines gone and approved - is there really something to look forward to?

I want to cry right this very minute. I am so tired.

so i guess right now we wait for an email from NVC, correct?

Not email, snail mail. By the time you receive it, your petition should be on its way to the embassy.

If you don't get stuck at NVC, that is. We have our snail-mail letter. But our case is still rotting in New Hampshire. It's been over three weeks, now. =/

Good luck.

what reasons would cause a hold up at the NVC?

She will be able to pick up the passport on Jan 22nd.

MMA (I can't remember your name long enough to type it!) : That's great news, I'm going to call NVC today to make sure my case really was forwarded to the embassy, when I originally called it was going to go out later that day... if it really did then I should be good to schedule an interview too, I hate to have to set it out further than they make me, but oh well... it'll be nice to have a solid date set one way or another. Unless I get some surprise bad news from NVC I will set the interview appointment tonight.
