CONGRATS!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:

And the same to everyone else who has been approved, like maliciant said, it is a nice problem to have...not being able to keep track of all of the approvals...

For those of us who are still waiting, hang in there!

BTW, I just realized that I am the only August 08 filer that I know of who received an RFE...quite embarrasing actually, especially since I hired an attorney...*sigh*

Oh well...let's see when they hand over my NOA2 now that they received my response to the RFE...and dear God, I really don't want another RFE!!!

Dont worry about the RFE, NVC is in New Hampshire. They probably called the service center and requested the RFE for you. People there hold grudges. They are still thinking about having another "tea party" in boston.

Just Kidding. I think you will get yours this week.

Mara - yours is coming too. We have no problems with Australians (except the accent sound British). I would think you will get yours soon too, but since you have another group of government to deal with, all I can say is I wish you the best. Since DISCO has finished, maybe it will move quickly now.

Not email, snail mail. By the time you receive it, your petition should be on its way to the embassy.

I'm back in the UK now.. unfortunately.

The 10th time we've had to say goodbyes at the airport, it hurts so much.. the good news is that Bill may be getting a decent job coming up in property admin; the bad news is that his mother doesn't think it's a good idea to travel to England in March to visit me because of the job. I understand what she means, but I can't take another 5-6 months of not seeing him, and my family/friends are looking forward to seeing him again before I'm carried off in a jet plane.. he only comes once a year, you see.

Anyway, congats on all the approvals! HD and Mara, and anyone else that is still waiting, try not to panic. I know it's easy to wonder if your petition has been lost, we all have at some point. I bet it's right there about to be worked on, or maybe it's even on its way to you! It's been a week since we got our NOA2 and we haven't had the hard copy yet. Try to hang in there.. the waiting will seem like a distant memory to you soon.

This waiting is wearing me down, nothing from no where, i'm tired of just waiting and not be able to do anything for this visa thing, i was hoping by the end of the last year, i had such big hopes and then big disappointments, i'm tired of waking up everyday with hopes and go to bed at the end with nothing, it is not fair for these people to do this to us, its just not, we are engaged, married, we also have relationships, we need our partners and we cant be with them, i dont want to wait anymore, i have no tears left to cry or something to hope for, i have no appetite to eat or any motivation to go on, i thought i'm strong, i dont like to complain after all i choose this way, i'm trying to stay positive but some days are really dark... :(:cry::(

I feel for you who are waiting for your NOA 2. Waiting sucks big time! When we got our NOA 2 I thought everything will go fast from then on but I was wrong. Our case has been put in AP and is stuck at NVC. The sad part is there is no timeframe for that which makes the waiting more difficult, it makes you feel like you are in a black hole. I've noticed some VJ members getting their NOA 2 so late but at least they were not held up NVC and they were able to schedule their visa interview at the embassy in a short period of time.

Stay positive, I know it's hard to do so sometimes, but we can't do anything about it but wait. Look forward to the time when you and your SO will be together for good. All this waiting will seem as nothing the moment you get together again. This is what my fiance and I do to keep us sane.

Take care and God bless!

If you don't get stuck at NVC, that is. We have our snail-mail letter. But our case is still rotting in New Hampshire. It's been over three weeks, now. =/

Good luck.
