Hey Dani, I know where you are coming from and yes it is painful to be waiting on something that you truly want to have the soonest possible time because every second is killing you. What I do on my end is try to shop around for stuff like wedding rings, surprises that I would possibly give him when he comes to visit me in December. i also think about what to get for his parents when th time comes that I will eventually (please make it soon) go there. I also am looking out for stuff that I am going to make myself for our wedding giveaways- things that are from the Philippines that they can't find anywhere in the US. It is therapeutic and it also keeps the excitement going and do away with the depression of being 8000 miles away from him.

Let's all hang on and our turn will be here soon. I keep praying that things will come my way that will keep me busy and get me going. I attend training workshops for social work. I attend parties and functions at orphanages that also shows how thankful I am to God for giving me such a wonderful man who is willing to go through all the trouble to be with me.

I guess no matter how dark the situation is right now, I just find ways to appreciate my situation. There is so much sadness in the world... Let's just keep the happy vibes coming and spread the love. Keep up the good habits of making other people happy and know that God answers prayers.

September is almost over guys, one month down!!!

I try to keep myself busy with shopping for wedding ideas ( we trying to blend 2 cultures ) here at home. Get what we can here in good time. Thanx for your encouragin word and with prayes all is possible. let hang in there for sure Our Lord watches over us and know all that ahead of us. In our momnets of weakness lets look to one another for encouragement and Never tire to ask God.

In your Strength, I can crush an army; with my God , I can scale any wall .....2nd Samuel 22:30

That's why VJ is a real godsend. It is amazing that we are all holding on and giving each other a fair shake and a long string of encouraging words when we haven't even met. Love works in mysterious ways - it is a gift from God- the Big Guy up there who truly knows how to unite people and keep the faith alive.

I just got out of the hospital peeps that's why i have been quiet for a while. Stress eh? OH YES!!! I can't wait to be with my honey in December!!! weeee!!!! And guess what? I missed all of you!

September is almost over!

Take care everyone and keep posting. Will meet my wedding gown designer tomorrow so we can start off with it. Will be meeting a friend on the weekend who is in the kewelry business so i could see her samples of wedding rings and jewelry stuff that would be great for my wedding gown. Can you tell I am excited? Oh so very much!

I wish to sleep and when i wake up it's December when my honey is here with the NOA2 and the needed documents. Way to go friends!

Yes it is, everybody is just doing their own thing, some like myself are keeping an eye on our May filers, they are suffering over there since CSC is a month behind the VSC now, they are frustrated, I feel for them but hey, what can we do but pray and hope right?

I feel for you CSC filers. On the plus side, at least things have started moving faster over there than in other times.

Sending you comfort with the thought that once the process is done, you're together. I won't be moving until next July :(

Hi gemmie

You are not alone :)

Last time i saw my fiance was in july, and next time i will see him is in Summer 2009, where I will *hopefully* move to him, since we got so delayed.

He's in 3rd year of highschool, and since we will live in another state, he can't just move when its just 1-2½ month left, so if I should be lucky enough to get my visa lets just say end of feb, we need to wait till the summer, till he is done, then we can move to florida.

It's hard but its worth it :)

7/31/2008 - Sended I-129F to VSC (lost in mail).

9/24/2008 - Resended I-129F to VSC (*sigh* lost again).

10/30/2008 - Resended again I-129F to VSC.

11/11/2008 - NOA1

03/09/2009 - RFE received

03/11/2009 - Returned RFE

05/23/2009 - Recieved 2nd RFE

08/05/2009 - Denied. Besides that he turns out to be a total jerk. Case ended.

Yeah it's because of school. I don't graduate from university until next summer so I can't just give it all up and move this close to the end. We're hoping he can fly over and come to my graduation and help me pack, then go back together. :)

Poor you, Shanira! I hate that your file was so carelessly dealt with by officials and know how much I would resent them if they lost my file and kept me waiting another 2 months. Any possible visits for you?

That's the same case for us almost :)

No unfortantly not, we are both studying, so we don't have the biggest economy right now, we are saving up for me to come.

(his mom will be our cosponsor)

Thanks for your words :)
