great input Helloworld. You think my fiance should call USCIS now?

sure... keep trying even though the first or second call doesn't work, you just have to be proactive...

i told the supervisor, i wanted to know what is going on with my case exactly, and he told me i was within the processing time frame, i then asked him why others filed after me got approved already, he then said that each case is process differently, i told him i've talked to alot of people(VJ ;) ) and their case is the same as mines , nothing special, then repeat question again, then he will transfer you to level 2 guy. then you will repeat everything again, keep asking for the status of YOUR case then he will probably tell you more info... This is important, before you talked to the supervisor and level 2 guy, ask them if they want your case number, that way they know who you are and they have your information opened and ready to add notes..

case number = reciept number (WAC****) ?

right!!

Wow!!! Congratulations HW! I know this is a huge weight off your mind now, and you can move on now. The future feels bright now. Good luck on the rest of the journey.

Bah, finally talked to the boss... I'm sure I'll get my two weeks... but he's going to meet with the office manager tomorrow to discuss it and stuff (GRRR... this means I get to wait another day before calling the embassy to make attempt 2 at setting the appointment...). Oh well, just gives the embassy another day to make sure they are actually able to schedule the appointment when I do call, it'll be their friday assuming things go well tomorrow... I wanna win the 'first august filer to get his woman over to the US' race!!! Or at least you know, come in near the top!

:angry: I am going to pass the 6 months of processing time. :( THIS SUCKS!!!!!! :crying::crying: I want my NOA2.

That's a little early to call, you are just approaching 5 months now, no?

keep your head up!

Its hard to understand what's going on, when NOA2 from september, late august and just days around your day are being processed, but not mine. Its almost like they skipped over my application. I am frustrated with our immigration system. I don't like how certain people get to decide whether someone can be with their love one. They do not know about the emotions and feelings that are involved in this process. I don't know how i would like to have the system set up if i had the choice to change it, but i would try to make the process go faster and more personalized. Everyone has a "Pursuit of Happiness", and mine is to be with my fiancee and future wife. I guess i am just blah blah with my frustrations.

I completely understand. I'm beyond frustrated as well. I've been in near tears all day. :( my last message did not convey my mood at all.

it should have read.

keep your head up :crying:
