I have been pretty quiet just reading my fellow august filers replies. And i am very happy for all the august approvals so far. I guess its time for me to start making some noise. Getting really restless waiting for my noa2.

I noticed something yesterday. Everytime I go and do a repair job on my house someone gets an NOA2 from the August filers. My house is looking great but I am tired. I have also given up that they will get me approved anytime soon.

Marm thanks for asking about the tax return question. I was wondering that myself. Has anyone heard if anyone has used this new I-134 form that does not need to be notarized yet?

Yeah it is on their website. It was I-134 form revised in October and I only noticed it because one of the approvals in early December was preparing their documents for their interview and I had done mine. They also asked if anyone had used it and at that time no one had. It is basically the same as the old form but no notary needed.

Hi all! Man, am I happy to have found this forum ... felt kinda isolated before just waiting, not knowing where the VSC was in processing petitions. It is really heartening to come here and see that other August petitioners are starting to get their NOA2! Plus, I get to learn lots of new terms like "touch" and NOA2 :P

Anyway, my fiancee (she in Japan, I in the US) got our NOA1 on Aug 22nd ... and like everyone have just been waiting and waiting and waiting!

I'm going to see her mid Feb, we are really hoping to have the NOA2 by then!

Any way, hello everyone, and good luck to all our fellow filers!

Our date on Igor's list jumped back again, to Jan 12.

This is the first time I am actually HAPPY to see it do so! Being past that date, for whatever reason, only stressed me out more.

Although, I wouldn't be opposed to a couple more approvals at CSC this week, and VCS, too of course. ;)

You most likely will have it by then, if you are really lucky maybe an interview will even be scheduled while you are there... I don't know anything about how the embassy in japan works though, but I'm under the impression japan is not considered high fraud and likely is fast at processing things.

I think we've developed a good array of baseball player like superstitious... house work = noa2... whining = noa2... giving up = noa2... user x predicts noa2 = noa2 (even though most of the time it's after seeing a touch so it's not much of a guess haha)... so who has been wearing the same underwear since the first NOA2 thinking it's their lucky underwear and if they don't wear them (unwashed) every day no NOA2's will come? I wish it was me but I didn't realize we were starting traditions that day and just went with a clean pair... but I guess it's never too late to start a new tradition... maybe the underwear I have on today are lucky and I need to keep wearing them non-stop until the rest of august filers have been cleared... or maybe worse... maybe my socks are lucky (honestly I think if I didn't change my socks daily they'd setup as fast as jello does in the fridge... try not to visualize this too much, it's disturbing...).

OK, my feet aren't funky, but I imagine they'd get that way quick if I thought my socks were lucky!
