Helloworld my boyfriend also called USCIS today, but they said they were working on march cases, he told me something about an "infopass", I am aiting for him to call me tonight to get more details .. but does it sound familiar to you?

yes it does sound familiar, but I told them that its BS and told them that people who filed after me have been approved already, I then asked to speak to the supervisor and explained the same thing, but stressed it even more about the approvals, then he transferred me to level 2 guy, he said that I should have a decision made sometime this month if not then request expedite next month.... when you call you have to speak loud, like your yelling at them, then thats when they start transferring phone calls...

Hello to all, just wanted to let you know that Costel and I have been approved and have our noa2.

When I got home from work yesterday (1-5-09) I checked USCIS and found that we had been touched that day. Today when I come home from work I had another nice surprise waiting for me---------2 e-mails------one from my love and the second from Cris. I am soooooooooooooooooo excited and very worried about the next step in paper work but I know that you all will help us and for that we are very grateful. We have not been members long but have really had so much support and help-------thank you so much and believe me we will be asking more questions sooooooooooo thank you in advance. Oh I know of one already-------where does uscis sent the approval and how do we get intouch with them. I remember reading on here somewhere but for the life of me can not seem to remember.

Costel and I would like to wish good luck to all the other members waiting for their next step. Lana and Costel

It goes to the NVC (National Visa Center). Hopefully they process it quickly (normally within 5-10 business days), then they will send it to the Embassy. When they send it to the embassy, you should get another letter from them (mailed, not email) telling you they will send it. If you look at the case number, it is actually a Julian Date code (sort of). it will probably say something like three letter abreviation for your embassy, then 2009, then 6 more digits. the first three are the Julian Date code + 500. The next 3 are the number for the case that was issued on that day for that embassy (probably 1). For example, JRD2009510001 JRD (maybe Jordan), 2009 (this year). 510-500 =10th day of year, case 001.

there is more information on how to contact them, but you probably wont need to unless there is a problem.

OK copied, I will tell my babe to call again and insist to talk to somebody else!! ok now about the infopass If the case is delayed and uscis will not give you detailed info over the phone you can request an "infopass appointment" with the local office in order to meet with someone in person who'll be able to obtain detailed info about your particular case on the spot...... If they told you about waiting for next month.. that will be 6 months since we filed .. so we will be a case delayed and start screaming everywhere!!!! hehe

Sometimes i just get so sad, tomorrow I start working again ... we had holidays till today ... I just wanna get my NOA2 to go and start a new life with my babe .... he`s coming on feb ... but still I dont wanna say godbye again .... :(

So, I get online and check the Visa jpurney ... and it makes me feel so better, to see all the people that have been appoved ... t gives me so much hope .. :)

Good luck to everyone ...

this is our year :)

I am currently making updates (as we speak and over the last 90 minutes) that will improve the timeline estimation code. If you were looking during the last 90 minutes take a look again. That said, the VSC has been "slowing down" its processing speed which is making people at the VSC have longer estimated wait times :(.
