yea i went to the hospital.. i have some trouble on the right side of my body but he thinks it will be ok. i am waiting on a referal to see a specialist.

but its ok things happen i'm a pta and ota so i already know what to do as far as therapy

Uh... don't have a stroke? Too soon? *sigh*.. I'm an insensitive #######... I'm assuming you've seen a doc or you wouldn't know it was a stroke but what kind of advice did they give you to prevent it in the future? (I guess what's the underlying cause of it... diabeties, high blood pressure, etc)? Nothing is scarier than death... except when you realize that A: You can die and B: You're pretty sure it can be any moment (which is also a pretty powerful motivator to fix whatever issue you are having). Also congrats on the NOA2, it's a relief when it gets here, but unfortunately there is more waiting and it'll still suck (I think it sucks until you are back with your man/woman).

Anyway, it's only monday and the good news is starting, I am looking forward to more good news (I have heard nothing about improved cable... and I did demand it!).

Hey all,

Grats Candy on getting your NOA2, and everyone else who has got them since I went MIA on the 20th of December.

I just got back from putting Chris on a plane back to the states.

I must admit there was choaking back of tears at the gate but I did well (normally im balling the whole flight) though I think it made it easier because we have promised each other that no matter what happens it won't be 6 months again.

Part of me is excited that he is going home, only for the chance that our NOA2 will be sitting in the pile of mail on his floor and we will be one step closer to being together perminately. The rest of me is admittadly Crushed, it really is hard watching someone you love getting to go home not knowing when your chance is .

I really hope our NOA2 is there, otherwise I think the tears really will come.....

Anyhow its a new year and a new year requires a positive start so Im avoiding that thought like the plague and thinking happy thoughts of arriving home in the start of the spring.

Hope everyone had a great new years and xmas, mine was the best Ive ever had

I checked at lunch time, and our case still hadn't been touched. Then, I checked when I got home and it had been touched and approved!

Hi guys, sorry for the absence but trying to get paperwork together and my man came over for the Christmas holidays so was enjoying being with him again.

I have a question though, if someone can please help. We are filling in the I-134 and he has noticed that his life insurance doesnt cover the amount of the mortgage on the house. This is an oversight on his behalf, but the problem is, do we fill out the I-134 with this amount, or wait until he has got life insurance for the full amount of the mortgage? (which he is going to do anyway) If we decide to wait for the later option its going to delay getting the paperwork back to the embassy.

Any ideas please?

I dont think it really matters if your life insurance covers the value of the property or not. Ultimately, the property is still of value, so even it life insurance doesnt cover it, it should still be able to be sold. I think the life insurance question is really related to if your policy has a cash value (ie not term life insurance). It can be considered another asset in that case. Generally speaking, he shouldnt be able to get a loan on the house unless it appraised (Yeah, I know, the housing market has crashed, but this form hasnt changed since before the crash), so the value of the house should be greater than the mortgage. Generally speaking, people must put 10% or more down, so it also can be considered as an asset.
