MARM: Yep, don't worry about the RFE, just view it as the good thing... it pretty much means you are going to have your NOA2 as soon as you get them back whatever they want, it would be nice if they actually included the contents of the RFE letter in the email though. I really expected to get one too for the passport photos and it takes nearly a week for mail to get to me from california and another to get back to them, hopefully you get your mail quicker than that.

COngratulations! Send some good vibes my way! This is absolutely horrible! Never again!

I feel all alone just posting to myself waiting anxiously.

I even called UCIS today just for the fun of it. I heard at least 100 phones (I'd say at least) in the background. The guy sounded like a computer. I was saying humorous things and he was like a government robot. I asked if I paid for an expedited, would that work since bribes get things done in congress. It was like I shorted out a new wire and he went on robotically for another few minutes about expedited service requirements. I then asked if he could add a #5 to the category "I"m a nice guy" and asked him if that would do? Maybe expedite because I'm nice? It was like his little computer brain couldn't handle it!

I asked him how to change the laws to get the nice guy category added to his rules and regulation requirement list. I think he had to go to therapy after that...it was too much for him (I need to read the obituaries). I asked where he was (he sounded like he was from a log cabin in Appalachia) but he told me he couldn't disclose that (all serious like) while I was asking other questions. It's not like telling me what state/city would cause a nuclear meltdown!

I can say one thing; he surely wasn't from Vermutt. He was from the twangy south.

He said they were working on March and that no one was out of the guidelines unless they filed in February. Oh well, he can tack one up for a service call...(job security)...read from a memorized script to anxious Hunny Bunny's and other immigrant categories and get kickass benefits and 5 weeks of vacation (must be nice)!

I think I'll apply for a job at UCIS and be one of the "bad" agents allowing people to bribe me! How about that? Then I could run for office afterwards and get elected!

I posted a new topic for this, but I am posting it here again for more exposure...maybe you guys can offer something

When I sent in my I-129F in August 2008, the form I used was this one: Form I-129F revised 11/24/06, and now, when I look at the USCIS website, the form is UPDATED as: revised 07/30/07 and the one prior to that (11/24/06) does not contain a section for the "yes" or "no" in part C #2, the newer updated 07/30/07 one contains this part to answer "yes" or "no".

Anyone else use the I-129F form revised 11/24/06? I know that USCIS has listed this form as acceptable for filing, but I am curious if anyone else has used the same form as I did because it does not contain that yes/no section in Part C #2. Hopefully this is just the reason for the RFE...

I hope you are kidding about the bribe... seriously, that kind of thing may not go over so well, even done jokingly, kind of like calling someone who is interviewing you for a job you want... and then calling them an embezzler... it could seriously be an issue and when it comes to just about any point in this process, it's not a good idea to make them mad or question their integrity (at least not when you have given them enough information to track down your case!).

USCIS would probably tell you where they are at, it's not exactly a secret, you have to know their address to mail the petition... that answer is a classic call center response... for whatever reason call centers have a policy that you never say where you are located, often they encourage you to lie and say you are located at whoever the client is (usually call centers deal with large clients and people are dedicated to answering phones for one client only). People in call centers love to answer questions about the local weather, where they are located, etc... it's kind of like the indian call centers... I can see why they'd want to hide that they are in another country, there is a stigma... but on the other hand it's usually stupid of them to attempt to hide it, it's usually pretty obvious right away even if they speak good english and it's clear and easy to understand... the stigma of course comes from all those that speak poor english and are difficult to understand... sometimes it's so incredibly bad it's comical, except that you usually are on line with some kind of tech support when that happens and you will likely be there a while... growing to hate foreign call centers...

Oh yes I am going to have a row with the lawyer, she did not get back to me today, usually she gets back in max 2 hours, I guess that is the only good thing about her, even though she gives answers that never help, but anyway, I am going to get all my doc back from her as well for sure, I have had it with her, it is a nightmare to think that she said she would do AOS for me at no further cost, no thank you!
