Yeah, I saw that.. VSC is approving petitions like mad now...

I'd never put my good buddy CRIS in the spam filter... but since google is semi-automatic... google may slap something in the spam folder... but I doubt it. And I'm checking the site so it's not like I'm going to go without noticing it... anyway... today is a weird day... I want to take my customary nap... to pass the time and see what happens... but really the whole point of the nap is to be able to spend time with my fiancee online, not really expecting to see her online tonight so... passing time it is haha.

I am so down and disappointed, congrats to all you guys that got approved with CSC, but VSC has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE last few days, I mean 1 per day, that is awful, even for a government agency.... they should all be fired.

NOA1: August 29, 2008

NOA2: January 26, 2009,

NVC RECIEVED: January 28, 2009

NVC SENT: February 3, 2009

INDIAN EMBASSY RECIEVED: February 7, 2009

EMBASSY SENT PACKET 3: February 9, 2009

Ok so here is what I have figured out...

According to VJ timelines:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between January 7, 2009 and January 17, 2009

According to people that have been approved so far (for example: Fred) #60-65 in Igor's List

According to my statistically calculated countdown: about 17 days left

According to VJ average time for CSC filers between NOA1 and NOA2: 134 days

According to VJ average time between NOA1 and NOA2 for CSC UK filers: 117 days

According to me: CSC has 3 days off (New Year, Christmas Day, and Dec 26)

So I conclude that I will stick to my countdown and will look and hope for an approval in the upcoming two weeks...

I hope I get it before my countdown ends!

(This is my idea of rationalizing the approvals for those that have filed after me and this is also a way of giving some practicality to my thought process and waiting time that I should expect for my NOA2.)

BTW, the adjudicated approximate date time-frame has moved a day back for CSC filers, so hopefully more NOA2s soon!

Keep it up CSC and wake up VSC!

:star:

P.S. So in my opinion, RATIONALLY, if you are still within a 150 day waiting period between your NOA1 and now for CSC filers, you should be OK and expecting approval any day...we are not left behind, the approvals are coming everyone!

And this statement is solely my opinion.

It is starting to get late, Come on, check your email. Tell us about your approval. Either I was wrong (unlikely ha ha ha) or you screwed up you application. I guesss they just send the RFE in the mail. But surely you got it right. I had two mistakes and now RFE. your approval should be within the hour. We are waiting!

It's official, I got a NOA2... my email says it was received at 6:45 so it was probably sent 4:45ish PST. Now that I have my NOA2... I have nothing else left to do with my life, it has no meaning!?! I can die happy now!.... Oh wait... I guess I have to order tax transcripts, get a letter of employment, and a few other things... then I can die happy. I'd have posted sooner but I wanted to keep everyone in suspense (that and I opted for nap... cause I'm old, onery, and crotchety... plus I figured I'll call my fiancee at some time tonight so it never hurts to be awake half the night hehe).

It's a little shocking that after all this time... instead of just sitting around whining about the wait... I actually need to do SOMETHING.
