Some of these USCIS folks may come in to make up some hours maybe so they dun have tocome in during the 3 day week. Check again tonight, who knows you may get an approval tonight!

Tonight we say goodbye to... the most awesome week for august filers ever (especially CSC... but it was still pretty good for VSC too...)... and usher in... the most likely dissappointingly slow week after the most awesome week for august filers ever!

Here's to hoping for the three most badass days of processing out of both service centers, and of course, my own personal NOA2... I'd like that thanks, this is of course my christmas wishlist hehe... 1 NOA2 please, for me... and you know.... 30+ for my friends... divided up between CSC and VSC...

God please let these three day be when VSC processes NOA2 for JV members and ME. This would be the greatest gift of all. Good luck to everyone i hope that we will all receive our NOA2, so we can be with our loved ones.

Hi everyone! I just had to share that I got our NOA2 in the mail today!!! No email notification, no updated status online. I was so depressed last night after it was time for CSC to shut down for the weekend because I got the touch on Wednesday (12/17/08) and then nothing after that. I kept checking USCIS over and over again and nothing...and then the snail mail today--NOA2 dated 12/16/08. I'm so excited!! Good luck to everyone else waiting. You are in my prayers!!!

They take work home? are you sure about that?

Those files contain personal information, that's a persons life on those files. They are not allowed to even take that out of the building. You see a touch on a Sunday because some employees have the flexibility of working Sunday so they can work shorter hours this week.

we go through many little fights and issues, but its part of this process. I'm sure like me you are eagerly awaiting the NOA2 so hang in there. I will let all of you know

i know everyone must feel the way i do being away from Rob, but it's horrible, really like an addiction, a craving to have a hug from him (and no mums hugs don't quite cut it), i just get so frustrated sometimes i want to scream

i guess it's because i know i won't be able to get back to see Rob until we get the visa

I know exactly what you mean. It's hard on all of us to be separated like this. I think one thing that I think about at times to give myself perspective is how it must feel to be the spouse of someone in the military. They go away for months and years at a time and may never come home again at all. This is a bit like that except we do know at some point we'll be with our fiance. It sucks...period..but I just find ways to keep myself busy and hope and pray that it all goes much quicker.

If you need to vent, scream, shout..come on over and do it here and know that you are not alone and any emotion you go through, heck I feel it too....many do.

These days it's easier than ever to walk around with millions and millions of people's personal private information... and no doubt it happens all the time... I don't know if USCIS allows people to take the physical files from the office, but I strongly suspect they can work remotely if needed.

I'm itching to see what new approvals we'll see this week... morbidly curious... will they start off with a june filer? july? august? September? Maybe they'll go straight to october or *gasp* sneak in some december filers just to really mess with us! Mostly though, I'm just bored at work thought. I know a lot of times mondays pass with no approvals showing at all, or sometimes just one, I hope this isn't one of those mondays, it's too short a week to start slow. Also, for those curious, of the nearly 40 approvals at CSC last week, about 11 were ones I consider sept filers (sent petition in september or close enough to the end of august that realistically the service center wouldn't receive it until september).

Also, only 3 days until christmas, how time has flown... just wish I had my noa2 so I could plan for my next flight!
