My boyfriend signed up to the USCIS website for automatic updates, I was wondering if it was okay for me to do this also? It has an option to register as an 'applicant' or as another option that's unrelated, and since I'm not the actual applicant, am I allowed to register for updates under that option?

Why don't you just share the same user name and password? That's what I do.

How does that work? Can you specify for the USCIS account to send updates to different more than one email address? Or do you mean the username and password to the same email account?

Thanks :star:

Well it can only go to one email account but you can still use check the status if you shared the same account. Actually you can check the status without registering also I believe but it's up to you. My finance has access to my email so we're ok with sharing. ;)

You could also set up a rule in your email that any emails from 'CRIS' are automatically forwarded to another email address.

Yeah, friday's almost over at CSC... for those of us watching our mailbox's there isn't a huge chance of getting anything once it's after working hours.... but it does still happen... we haven't seen the big friday rush of approvals yet, I wonder how many approvals there will be this week.... CSC could hit the mid 30's and up pretty easily. I'm leaning towards expecting my NOA2.... next week instead of this week now :P.

I totally agree with you Harsh. Every step counts...even if it is one teensy little step, it matters because...

It is one step closer to the one you love

And I also agree that it is so uplifting to see so many approvals, it should be even better next week with CSC and hopefully VSC will catch up as well. All these approvals mean that mine is just around the corner...

Harsh, I think most of us are there with you, addicted to VJ, hoping for NOA2 so we can get on with the process.

As for me, a touch yesterday, and a touch today, but no approval....hopefully that means an approval Monday and not a RFE.

I saw your post as the last in the thread and I thought heh, there goes another touch and next day approval... guess not.

After the NOA2 is of course... more waiting, but seriously, from the NOA2 it's usually all down hill, there are small steps, little accomplishments all over the place, instead of just a long period of uncertainty... you can actually start to form something of a plan and expectations... before the NOA2, all you can do is wait... after you still have a lot of the same but you have a solid date to know *something* fairly soon after... a lot of the stress of the process should be over then... still the possibility of failure or other problems but at least the longest period of waiting is over.

I'm not a slave to the NOA2 though... I'm a slave to my woman... who as was said, is one step closer when the NOA2 shows up... but it's not like all I do is sit here on VJ... I swear once and a while I go do something else too.
