Good morning everyone,

this morning I received an email telling me that my notice of approval for NOA2 was sent yesterday. FYI, I filled on Aug, 27th.

Good luck to the rest of the august fillers, it's almost over!!

Cheers

Seb

Woohoo!! Congratulations!! This is getting SO exciting!!!

Congrats AMY, I am really happy for you :dance::dance::dance: . I have been busy today, so I am hoping to see about 10 more approvals as I read through this thread. I am sure it will take a while to read through all the posts. Seems everytime I open this thread, there are 3-4 more pages. HAHA

One cup of water boils on my stove in about 3 minutes... it's way way faster than watching USCIS :P

90 seconds in my microwave...

i've got a hot water dispenser, its basically instant...

Oh great, you guys will probably get your NOA2's before me... AND you'll have water boiling faster... I HAVE NOTHING! NOOOOOOOOOTHINGER! (I have no idea how that ER got on the end of that but I'm leaving it lol).

USCIS needs a machine to stamp the word approved, like a hot water dispenser, just push a button and out comes the hot water pouring in your cup, Humans take too damn long!

Machine or human, this entire process should take no longer than 90 days. Engagement to wedding.

We simply have too many rich ba$tards in government who want to keep their cheap undocumented labor...

I will put my soapbox away now...

Looks like they've only done 5 August sender's so far (VSC looking at the last 20) based on Igor/Ivan the Terrible/Vlad the Impaler's list.

Looks like for the most part they're doing people who filed 2nd and 3rd week of July right now....

I'm #122 on vsc waiting...sent 8/3 NOA1 8/14. Seen a couple after me get it...then some late April and May one's coming in now, too (I guess that worker's off Maternity leave) LOL!

UCIS needs an attitude adjustment right upside their head!

There's no way to know exactly how and when....

Only thing I can think of is at a certain date they send out for our criminal records and complete as they get responses and review if something shows up to make sure it's not local or more extensive...then move on to processing. THat's the only big variable I can see...different states and Federal notice of criminal records...response time variance...

I want mine now!

I did webcam with her and her mom today and yesterday. Was able to tell her I couldn't wait to come marry her daughter soon as I can. She was as embarrased and excited as I am about this whole thing.

It's gonna be a WEIRD wedding...we march down a dirt road, they hoop and hollar with tacky music blaring and everyone dancing, then I go in the house to pick up my bride, a monk ties us together, does a ceremony, then I whip out the beetlenut bowl of gold and cash, they count it, yell out the amount to whoever is there, everyone applauds and comments what a good man I am, what a good heart....on and on (meanwhile I'll be embarrased out of my gourd) but it will all be over soon enough! I can't wait to see her all dressed up like this....and I wear white with a gold or maroon sash...be kinda neat except for the dirt road and dust everywhere...but that's how they've done it for thousands of years! Looking forward to being adopted by a completely different culture and she mine!!!
