Congrats! We just got our approval yesterday and we're using the London Embassy too! So it looks like we'll be going through the next few stages together :)

Timeline:

K-1

07/30/08- I-129F was delivered to Vermont

08/11/08- NOA1

12/14/08- NOA2

02/11/09 Interview (Approved!)

03/07/09 POE at JFK

03/13/09 Married!

AOS

04/08/09- NOA1 for AOS and EAD (we didn't apply for AP)

04/22/09- Case Transferred to CSC

04/24/09- Biometrics Appointment

05/22/09- EAD card production ordered

05/29/09- EAD approval notice sent

06/01/09- EAD arrived in the post

06/18/09- I-485 RFE notice via email

06/25/09- I-485 RFE notice via mail

(They wanted him to redo medical exam- they must've lost it. They also wanted a copy of our marriage certificate, even though we included that in our original submission.)

07/03/09- Medical exam (second one this year grrr!)

07/06/09- I-485 RFE response mailed back to CSC via USPS

07/08/09- I-485 RFE response package delivered at CSC

07/10/09- I-485 Case Processing Resumed (CRIS email)

07/16/09- I-485 Card Production Ordered

07/21/09- I-485 Approval Notice Sent

07/24/09- Green card received in the post!

04-25-2007 Admitted that we had feelings for each other started talking on skype everyday!

10-12-2007 Met in US in person for the first time, love at first sight lol, 2 perfect months together.

06-21-2008 Engaged

08-16-2008 Package finally put together and posted to Vermont! Let the real games begin.

08-21-2008 Delieved, least thats what Fedex told us....

08-27-2008 Check Cashed *dances* come on NOA1!!!!!

03-01-2009 Confirmed Case lost by USCIS

04-03-2009 Refiled K1 Visa application complete with expedite due to USCIS error.

05-14-2009 K1 package once again has vanished....

06-08-2009 Hired lawyer to proceed with Appeal process.

06-26-2009 Paperwork Fedex'ed to lawyer

07-02-2009 Lawyer submitted our suit to court

07-17-2009 Court day 2: Success, must respond by 21st August. - No result ever came from this.

10/06/2009 Withdrew K1 petition

10/10/2009 Married

10/24/2009 CR1 packet completed and posted

10/26/2009 Packet arrived at Chicago - And Submitted our Aussie application

11/04/2009 Application of CR1 returned - was rejected because of a "blurry zip code" we didn't bother to re-apply given that Chris had lost his job

04/05/2010 Australian application still pending

September 2010 - Chris arrived in Australia on Temporary Visa.

10/10/2011 - 2 year wedding anniversary - Chris to be granted Australian Permanent Residency

Summer 2012 - Planned immigration to USA.

*We have visited each other 8 times since 2007*

I-130 for Parents (Mom and Dad)

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

I approve of your approval.

I'm maliciant and I approve of this message, I also approve of all the use of approval in this message. I also approve HappyDancer sneaking ma$turbation into the thread... this thread needs more of that.

The day ain't over yet for CSC... they could ####### out a few NOA2's today (the ones yesterday happened pretty late). It's nice when there are approvals, it's even nicer when thsoe approvals are august approvals... and even nicer than that when it's an active august thread junky... and the nicest approval of them all, mine... which isn't here yet, but I'll definitely approve of my own approval when they send the NOA2 stating it's been approved.

OK, I NEED TO RANT AND RAVE....

I ordered RETURN TRANSCRIPTS from the IRS along with W-2 FORM TRANSCRIPTS for myself and my mother....

and the IRS...IS GETTING ON MY NERVES!!!

I got my W-2 FORM TRANSCRIPT, BUT NO RETURN TRANSCRIPT!!!

My mother got the RETURN TRANSCRIPTS, BUT NOT HER W-2s, they sent my father's W-2s, but those are not even needed, my mother is the cosponsor.

SO...here we go again..going to order what they DIDN'T SEND US tomorrow because their office is closed now!

I know I have a lot of time until the interview, did not even get my NOA2 yet, but PLEASE, COULD PEOPLE JUST DO WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME, so we don't waste time and energy...

I think its not getting the NOA2 yet that is actually causing this ranting and raving, but all the same, I am mad at the IRS...

And the weather is so gross, I hate driving in the snow, its snowing mad here, but no, I didn't get to go home early, it took me FREAKIN 1 HOUR to get home...when it usually takes me 10 minutes...and it going to continue to snow all night!

I just want to be with my fiance...

God, please, let tomorrow be a better day and give us all our NOA2s and make the rest of the journey easier and quicker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I HATE WAITING, I HATE THE SNOW, I HATE NOT HAVING MY NOA2 YET, no wait, I HATE GETTING TOUCHES AND NOT HAVING MY NOA2 YET...it's like someone is teasing me...just quit with the games CSC and give me my NOA2!!! God knows how long the rest of the process is going to take, this is too much...

OK I am done...feeling much better now :yes:
