Actually up to 3 now... but the other two were mid july filers... sheesh, july is old news, we want august approvals! Three in a day ain't bad thought and I guess we gotta let them approve the july filers so they don't come in and rain on our parade about how unfair USCIS is and all that jive...

I'm king again, it's been a while, and now that I'm king, I declare this page of the thread the official get your NOA2 before christmas page... I don't really know what the heck that actually means but it's official and can't ever be changed.

Its exciting to see all the august approvals this early on though, maybe, just maybe your Xmas approvals decree might be passed down to the people.

Chris gets here on Saturday, I am very excited, we have booked a week in the city over new years :D

I know I wont see my approval till the 2nd week of Jan at the earliest though, even if it was handed out this week we wont get it till it arrives in the mail or Package 3 turns up in here in Aus lol.

06-18-2006 Met online in WoW

04-25-2007 Admitted that we had feelings for each other started talking on skype everyday!

10-12-2007 Met in US in person for the first time, love at first sight lol, 2 perfect months together.

06-21-2008 Engaged

08-16-2008 Package finally put together and posted to Vermont! Let the real games begin.

08-21-2008 Delieved, least thats what Fedex told us....

08-27-2008 Check Cashed *dances* come on NOA1!!!!!

08-29-2008 NOA1

10-27-2008 RFE

11-10-2008 RFE returned

03-01-2009 Confirmed Case lost by USCIS

04-03-2009 Refiled K1 Visa application complete with expedite due to USCIS error.

05-14-2009 K1 package once again has vanished....

06-08-2009 Hired lawyer to proceed with Appeal process.

06-26-2009 Paperwork Fedex'ed to lawyer

07-02-2009 Lawyer submitted our suit to court

07-17-2009 Court day 2: Success, must respond by 21st August. - No result ever came from this.

10/06/2009 Withdrew K1 petition

10/10/2009 Married

10/24/2009 CR1 packet completed and posted

10/26/2009 Packet arrived at Chicago - And Submitted our Aussie application

11/04/2009 Application of CR1 returned - was rejected because of a "blurry zip code" we didn't bother to re-apply given that Chris had lost his job

04/05/2010 Australian application still pending

September 2010 - Chris arrived in Australia on Temporary Visa.

10/10/2011 - 2 year wedding anniversary - Chris to be granted Australian Permanent Residency

Summer 2012 - Planned immigration to USA.

*We have visited each other 8 times since 2007*

3.15.2014: Mailed I-130 Packet for Mom and Dad

3.21.2014: Received email notification with case # for both petitions; case forwarded to NBC for processing

3.21.2014: Check cashed

3.22.2014: Hard copy NOA1 received

4.08.2014: Both I-130 approved (notification received via email) - It only took three weeks!!!

4.11.2014: Received NOA2 approval notice in the mail.

5.01.2014: Called NVC to ask for status of paperwork. Advised they received both application on 4.28. Advised to call in 30 business days for an update.

6.02.2014: Email notification received from NVC that shows parents' NVC case number and instructions to pay AOS Fee and fill out DS 261.

6.03.2014: Paid AOS fee ($88 for both petitions)

N400:
4.26.2013: Mailed N400 Packet

5.21.2013: Biometrics

7.18.2013: Testing and Interview

9.25.2013: Oath Ceremony

I'm trying to understand why the h*k mine is not approved, is it that they hold the ones that have babies and didn't marry first?. (sigh) :(

11/1999 - We met in Ecuador

02/05/00 - Relationship started

09/08/06 - Engaged & Pregnant!

03/13/08 - I filed for Citizenship

07/22/08 - Became US Citizen

08/02/08 - I-129F sent

08/13/08 - Case received by VSC

08/16/08 - NOA1

08/18/08 - Touched

12/18/08 - Touched again exactly 4 mos. after 1st touch!

12/18/08 - Noa2 @ 3PM-Gracias Dios Mio!

12/24/08 - NVC sent pckg. 3 to Embassy

01/02/09 - Pckg 3 rcvd. by Embassy

01/09/09 - Pckg 3 from Embassy received by beneficiary

02/09/09 - Medical exam

02/16/09 - Sent back checklist and docs required by embassy.

03/13/09 - We will fly to see Daddy Gary

03/16/09 - 1 PM Interview (Pray God he gets visa)

03/16/09 - 5PM INTERVIEW PASSED WOOHOO. Thank God.

03/25/09 - Visa on hand! he went to DHL office after phone call received.

04/18/09 - My Cuchi came, (NYC)a wonderful unbelievable moment!:)

04/20/09 - We applied for marriage licence. (Township Municipal Bldg Health Dept.)

04/23/09 - Licence on hand

04/29/09 - Applied for Social Security (He was in system!)

04/30/09 - Wedding day!!! Yeeebaa

05/07/09 - SS card in mail. "valid for work only with DHS authorization"

05/13/09 - Sent AOS paperwork.

06/16/09 - Biometrics Apptmt.

06/25/09 - EAD Card in mail!

06/26/09 - Letter saying case transfered to Cali.

08/08/09 - Residence Card in Mail! Yuuupiiiiiii.

THE END FOR 2 MORE YEARS.

Wow the person directly in front of me on Igors got approved, I hope this is a good sign. We had the same sent date but my NOA1 was before his. I can feel it, I am getting a Christmas NOA2!!

Hahaha... welcome to my club... seeing someone with the same date as you certainly makes it interesting!

yeah, it kinda sucks because you want to be happy for them, but also have a WHERE'S MINE??? attitude....I feel like I have been reduced to a 5 year old again.

On a happy note, my boss just called and I get a snow day!!! YIPPIE no work!!!

I am so silly, I look for excitement in the most silly things... I loaded up the timelines on VJ, put them in NOA1 order and since "LEE and HOLLY" got approved, (their NOA1 was August 19th), my timeline can now be seen on the same page as a "normal" August approval, without scrolling... lol, they are the line all the way on the bottom of the screen and we are the one all the way on top, barely fitting in the screen haha. Its just so exciting when compared to how much I used to have to scroll to see how far I was from an NOA2.

Maliciant, I pledge my allegance to u sir, and hope your declaration at the beggining of the page turns out to be prophetic, lets go NOA2s!!!

You do have to appreciate VSC and CSC's randomness. I mean you know it would make sense to just do the K-1 visa's in the order they were received, but then where is the originality in that. It makes much more sense to do approvals in completely random order with no rhyme or reason to the madness. It is even smarter of them to be like the last agency in the goverment to still use 30 pages of paperwork vice electronic scans. Way to dam the man and keep it old school Immigration Department!

Our Timeline K1 My Version!!!!

11-22-06 She winks at me!!!!!

2-13-07 Fly to MNL

2-14-07 I get there for Valentines Day cause I am sweet like that!

2-20-07 I fly home....

7-10-07 I fly to Manila again before I go to Iraq

7-11-07 Engaged

7-12-07 We go to Tarlac to meet the family and stay there

7-17-07 I go home....

7-24-07 Go to Iraq

2-24-08 I come back from Iraq safe and sound cause I promised I would!

3-25-08 Fly to Manila AGAIN 3rd time on that flight (But it was a little better on Continetal Airlines to Japan cause there coach class has power ports for laptops.

4-22-08 End of the best month ever....even though I had to shower from a bucket like Iraq and buy her an AC cause I was dying at her house....Had to do the visa extension thing which was easy, I had a very good time for the month I was there and felt so much more comfortable about the future!

Yeah, imagine I would have gotten my NOA 2 one or two months ago with everybody else from June. How boring would that be. Now I will have a real reason to open a bottle of Champagne and get things done asap after the approval so we can start our new life together and won't hang in limbo like that now anymore...

Congrats to the lucky bastards who got approved from August already :star: !!! I really don't wish for anybody to wait longer than 6 or 7 months.

Just one question here again as it bothers me a lot. I know our case got assigned Nov 13 to an officer at VSC. Is anybody here who has information like that on their case and has been approved? How much longer can it possibly take??
