I just got home from a Christmas shopping trip, checked my email, and there it was: NOA2 approval.

We were number 146 on Igor's list.

Now I'm all frazzled.

So much to do! So much to do!

Now to time the interview so that the six months to enter the US after the visa approval doesn't end before July 16...

So I am maybe being really thick right now, but I don't see an 'edit' button for my above post, but I forgot to say that we got that approval with ZERO touches.

So if you haven't shown any touches online, don't worry, because they are probably still looking at your file.

The edit button is only available for a few minutes after you post, kind of annoying but on the other hand it keeps people honest too.

I'm not really freaking out, I'm always at least half in jest about things... but I have to admit now that it's on the verge of happening, every time I see mention of a NOA2 I eyeball my email and at least consider a quick login to USCIS... But give me a few more days and I might reach officially start freaking out...

ETA: Wow, the approvals are rolling in today, it's very exciting, it seems like every time I look at this thread (and I've done that a few times in the last hour!) there are new approvals... I guess I'm expecting igor's list to show us some love after the hourly update... I actually knew how many august filers had been approved at CSC and VSC but now it seems like it's going so fast, it's too much to keep up with (igor's did just update and showing 2 VSC filers for this current week... and I know at least 1 or 2 have found out about NOA2's from the previous week or two also).

Looks like it's Vermont today, doing its thing.

However, I'm glad to see there are more people who are NOT looking to move to the US the moment they receive their visa. (Or, in other words, those who'd like to play with dates to get it all sorted the way that'd work best for them.)
