so how do most people find out they have been approved?

I have heard about people being emailed, which email address is that? Would it be the one i have registered with the USCIS website? I can't remember if we gave an email address when we filled out the application.

Or do people just find out through the mail?

any info would be wonderful.

:star:

Yep, it would be the one you registered on the USCIS website. Otherwise, you just have to wait for the mail.

When you signed up on USCIS site for an account you provided an email address, and you entered your WAC/EAC number too. If you didn't sign up on USCIS then I recommend you go do that, it's how people see touches, and how people are finding about their approvals before receiving the hard copy. The email system at USCIS hasn't been that reliable from what I've seen, or people simply miss the email somehow or something, I don't know... but when you get emails from USCIS they are from CRIS. Sometimes people don't get the email and find out when they login and see their case status changed... that's not that reliable either... then it's down to the regular mail... and there have been times where that hasn't been that reliable either (more for NOA1's than NOA2's though) so the more ways you can check the better off you'll be. (Oops, guess a few others answered this question while I was posting).

I see another August CSC filer on igors now, so we're up to 4 CSC, 3 VSC. This latest approval is another mid-august approval... Good for me... but not so much for the early august filers...

We all want you to be approved just as we would like our own NOA2's as well...

Don't worry, your approval may well be on its way in the mail to you!

But if you are going to join here with us Aug filers, we would rather have you celebrate any and all approvals. We are all part this cruel waiting game after all, so be happy  for those who get approved and keep your hopes up!

LOL... enraged august filers... but hey, tresspass in another months thread at your own risk mwuahaha...

But yeah, I can definitely understand how seeing other people approved out of order can get to you awfully quick, it's not in any of our hands, all you can do is be bitter about other peoples luck or thankful that those petitions at least are no longer going to be between an immigration officer and your own petition anymore...
