soon- the punk better be a kid. I would rip him apart if I caught him.

Speaking of cars, my honey had a wreck last Saturday on an interstate heading to Louisville. Good thing he wasn't hurt, but the truck was useless. He's getting a Chevy Cobalt now. Dang! Car payments and USCIS to deal with... Really nice.

All hail Queen HD!

Not every criminal action is about making money... sometimes it's about fun... and seriously... a beater-mobile is every bit as much fun as a nice vehicle, possibly more, for some kid to take for a joy ride... So um, you still have a car but does it work (I'm kind of under the impression the screw driver approach to stealing a car makes the proper key to the vehicle obsolete unless maybe they used a very small screwdriver... the kind that I guess would break more easily..).

ETA: Seems like as soon as a USC decides to marry a foreigner, we start hearing all the horror stories and everyone seems to assume they want green cards... but what really is weird... I think there is a much higher number of car wrecks involving USC's marrying foreigners than average... I've seen more stories of car wrecks at VJ than anywhere else (and so far, none of them were a result of a foreigner driving!). I'd also like to add that I've nearly been hit three times recently in the last month... I think it's a conspiracy!

ETA2: Haha, yeah, I saw I am a gold member yesterday... gold member... what a funny word... member... haha... easily amused... what a funny word... easily... *drool*

So um... anyone of the early august filers gone all watchdog on the USCIS site looking for touches? The system is pretty unreliable in that regard (with some never getting touched or whatever at all and others getting touches frequently it seems)... anyone feelin lucky? I think we're due any day now (I'm hoping this evening we'll see an august approval).

I have been look for touches like crazy, but i kind of think i am not going to know anything till it shows up in the mail box in WA and my family calls me and tells me I have a letter from the USCIS.

HD, that stinks about the car acident. There have been soo many wrecks around here lately. I am glad he is okay even if the truck isn't.

I think actually your NOA1 date makes you an August filer. I sent my 129F in August and received my NOA1 on Sept. 2--"they" tell me that makes me a September filer. It sounds bad, but actually is a little bit better for the morale since we will probably be some of the first approved in our respective months. Whereas, if you stay in the Juy forum, you will surely be one of the last approved.

As for the question, I am going absolutely CRAZY waiting!!! It helps having a "support group" out here in cyber world, though...

*bows* before Queen HD.

Wow lots happening round here...

Macilient, HD and Fred went gold, grats y'all (i'm brushing up on my american before Chris arrives next saturday)

Chris has an appointment at USCIS today at 2pm, it is now 340pm there and I am yet to hear word, His cell is either off or dead so Im waiting with baited breath to see if he actually made it there, and got some news (big ask I know).

Hopefully today will finally be the day that I can put down my NOA1 Date and start checking the website..... hopefully...

I had a dream last night where they just gave him the NOA2 instead of the NOA1, because it used less ink to print and would save the trees (No I don't know why the officer Chris say was a tree hugging hippy, nor do I know why he was wearing a tacky hawaiian shirt), it was a very exciting dream. Oh if only the real world was as easy.... lol

*hugs* for all my August filers.

Amy&Aldo - You are classed as an September Filer as that is the date it was recieved by USCIS, and i will be processed with September cases (unless USCIS has a backflip and randomly draws your case like it seems to do sometimes) however we might forgive you for hiding in our super cool, ready to be processed, August filers thread.
