130 on Igor's list.. at least it SEEMS now it's moving a bit faster..

Yep, as far as going up the list goes it's definitely moving fast now... before new people were joining all the time who had sent their petitions ahead of us... now that's not going to happen nearly as much... so any time there is an approval it almost always improves our position... and sometimes... even when not (people dropping off the list due to timelines being out of processing times... I prefer to move from approvals though).

For those who's partners are about to meet the father :)

************************************************************************

Marriage Talk

His girlfriend's father was interviewing Young Charles. "So," said that impressive personage, "you want to be my so-in-law, do you?

"Not particularly," said Charles tactlessly, "but if I want to marry your daughter I haven't much choice, have I?"

I wish, Emilia's father passed away when we were sophomores in high school. But I already knew her family from way way way back sine we were kids...

Anyone else MEETING THE PARENTS???????????

Should be a good subject...

And hey, CSC did well this week, not bad at all!

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI

My mum died before Bill could meet her.. my dad loves Bill, thinks he's a great guy. He asked his permission before asking me to marry him too.

Don't worry Mara, I'm sure they'll get on just fine. :)

How come you're at #87 Fred, and we're at #181.. :( We applied at the same time.

Helloworld is the king, I'm only king when I get the first post on a page... on this page I'm the court jester!

But yeah, VSC is showing march 3-7-2008 as the processing time compared to 6-7-2008 for CSC. That means VSC has an extra 3 months worth of filers (who either haven't updated timelines, are unfortunate enough to not have a NOA2, etc) showing up on the list still... igor's list uses the official processing timelines to determine how many people to show. Anyway, despite what the lists say, the processing times are pretty close I think... your place on the list is just less flattering, I think it's about 50/50 for whether VSC or CSC approves an august filer (keeping in mind I have picky standards about who really qualifies as an august filer).

CSC is going to start this next week off with a NOA2 right away.... how exciting (of ccourse, it's a bogus NOA2... someone screwed up on their time line or filled in what they thought would be the date they'd get the noa2 or something). I think this next week is going to be the week we see someone who filed in august (or even the last 3 or 4 days of july is good enough for me to count as an august filer) get a NOA2.
