We've just registered on the website because we finally got the number from the check.

It says we were touched on the 18th.

Hopefully that's the date they sent our NOA1 as we didn't have email notification turned on until now.

I was mistaken before when I said ours were sent the same day. Ours was sent on the 12th, over 2 weeks ago, though we haven't recieved a NOA1 yet... I was hoping it was due to not having email notification at the time but no hardcopy - have you?

Okay, our touch is actually 19th... could've sworn it said 18 last night!

It's amazing how a tiny thing such as a touch can make you feel so comforted. Or do I mean it's pathetic.

Hi Guys, just joined the forum last night and joining the discussion! I LOVE this website!

I mailed the I-129F form on Aug 15 and we got our notice of receipt on the 19th and the check has cleared!

I was pretty depressed when I went on the gov website, because it said it's currently processing applications submitted in January -- but based on some of the timelines on here it seems like things actually go a lot faster than that?

I hope so! My fiancee is here in the US till mid-October and then he will be going home until the visa is approved :-( 6+ months apart would be extreeemely difficult.....

Welcome to our waiting room! I used to find that depressing too but I've found out since that that's the date of their oldest applications. People that filed their application in April and even May are being approved. So it's about a 4 month wait right now.

I'm a little concerned about all the NOA1s I'm seeing both before and after our filing date. Dying to ask my fiancee to check his emails when he gets home from work.
