I was touched too today - it's amazing after the same date for MONTHS having two new ones in two days.

However....not getting too excited yet about the touches as they seem to often come in twos (looking at other people's timelines) so today's touch could be connected to yesterday's.

On the other hand......it might mean they are working on it today...yay!

Damn was trying not to get too excited.

Whats this "excitement" feeling you speak of?

Ilya - are you still at VSC? Or have you been moved too?

I just called vermont, and they said my case wasnt moved, nobody ever looked at it yet. I was so mad on the phone, I really let her know everything I thought about their center, about them, about their process priorities, and basically about USCIS.

oh no, Ilya! I hate to hear that. Im glad you let them have it!

what did they say? probably nothing

She said call in a week.......

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I know it's probably too soon as we only heard about the transfer yesterday but has anyone managed to call either VSC or CSC and find out when our files will reach the new center and how long they think it will be before they are worked on?

I wonder what it will do to their processing time this month. Or do you think they aim to get all our files done before the 15th then they don't have to put their processing times back?

I bet it improves VSC processing time date for I-130 as they have just shipped out all the old cases!

You know, yesterday when i called. The reg customer service people had no idea either. Maybe call back in a couple of days. I think the lighter load can only help to move along the applications left there, so i think you might still be in a for a good surprise.

VSC admits defeat? What a relief for the inmates! Congratulations on the reprieve! Wonder what happened to that VSC staffing plan? Had trouble attracting skilled workers to a dying town of 5,000 in Northern Vermont?
