ROZA congrats.... you said she asked for the W2’s ... what is that ... the W2's from U.S ?? did you submitted the Social Security Form to VFS before the interview ??

W2 is Wage and tax statement which is given the employer. here are the details:

Form W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, is used in the United States income tax system as an information return to report wages paid to employees and the taxes withheld from them. The form is also used to report FICA taxes to the Social Security Administration. Relevant amounts on Form W-2 are reported by the Social Security Administration to the Internal Revenue Service.

Employers must complete a Form W-2 for each employee to whom they pay a salary, wage, or other compensation as part of the employment relationship. The Form W-2 reports income on a calendar year (January 1 through December 31) basis, regardless of the fiscal year used by the employer or employee for other Federal tax purposes. However, this refers to the time period in which an employee has been compensated, not necessarily the actual dates of employment. After the final payroll in December, employment is normally compensated and subject to tax in the following year.

He had my tax returns and the copies of my all transcripts so he just given the W2 to her when she asked.

As you mentioned X-ray report will be opened (by whom, is it at the time of interview) and did Fathima carry X-ray report in her lugguage bag.. right ??

my husband got medical report and x-ray report in a sealed envelope.. Please clarify that..

X-ray report need not to take to the Consulate, nor to the U.S. It is given from the lab. Based on that, the physician will make the report on the medical papers. This medical report also was open when it was handed over to Fathima by the doctor. But the consulate put this medical report in the sealed envelope. That's all. Fathima kept the X-ray report at home in India. Even otherwise, she has the excess luggage than allowed

Thank you for that... In our case, since both the reports are sealed (on top written, "only be opened by the consulate") in my opinion, the consulate will open the reports and keep it in the visa sealed packet.... I would ask my husband to ask this question at VFS ahmedabad office, since he is going on Aug 12th to pay the courier fees....Will find out that time...

Yes it should be sent in AOS but i sent three transcripts of prior years with I-864EZ and In the intructions of I-864EZ you will find a checklist on 7th page, here are the details:

A copy of your individual Federal income tax return, including W-2s for the most recent tax year, or a statement and/or evidence describing why you were not required to file. Also include a copy of each and every Form 1099, Schedule, and any other evidence of reported income. You may submit this information for the most recent three tax years , pay stub(s) from the most recent six months, and/or a letter from your employer if you believe any of these items will help you qualify.

For SOME sponsors:

If you are on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces and are sponsoring your spouse or child using the 100 percent of poverty level, proof of your active military status.
