We never used webcams before we were together. I'm kinda glad we didn't...too much pressure to always look nice for him on cam...hehe. I didn't mind sitting around in well-worn pjs, no makeup, etc while chatting on the phone. I would have felt the need to always make sure my hair and makeup was done. *shrug*

my mom was funny.. my dad is a long distance trucker and when he would call my mom would quickly run her hands through her hair before she would pick up the phone ..lol

we used webcam once in a while but my computer was crappy so the cam really slowed down the computer and the cam always froze.. plus I was living at home and I didn't want everyone else on cam with me too :P

Nah, he's already seen me drool in my sleep so he's seen the worst...hehehe. I come home after work, take off my makeup and put on what I call my favorite housedress... LOL I DO like to look nice when we go out together though. I don't know who that's more for...him or me?

i used to love watching charles sleep. couldn't hear him snoring, good ol' times :lol:

i wouldn't dress up. He was seeing me the same way he sees me now, with old tank tops and shorts.

thank the Lord for webcams....how would our lives be without them???

and how much closer would we really feel??

I can hardly stand a day without being able to communicate with my hubby via internet...I mean if he is in cafe, I dont always get to see his face but at least having unlimited time online either talking or seeing each other is a relief!

I can hardly believe we have been doing this for 3 years now...it gets tiresome after a while and you start to feel as though your webcam really thanks you for it! :devil::dance:

i cant imagine not having this means of communication

i spend so much time online with him that when he is not online I dont know what to do with myself

sometimes it feels like the computer is HIM...it is our LIFELINE and without it I WOULD DIE!!!!!!!!!!

We hope to hear something soon, enough is enough already

BUT..you still work ladies! :P LOL I mean you still like to be all dolled up when they see you, right?

I look forward to our time every night and I appreciate him staying with me allllllllll the night in Morocco, because it is a 4-5 hour difference (depending on daylight savings) and he literally sleeps in the day and up all night, just to be with me

It made the whole waiting process a bit more bearable then just only calling on the phone! I loved watching my husband's handsome face and him being silly on the webcam whenever we got the chance to use one and we always had looked forward to getting together for our "special dates" in this way! :luv:

Aww! I remember one of our first webcam "dates" - Onur downloaded a bunch of songs that he saw I liked from my Myspace profile and started playing them for me over his microphone. This is before we had ever met in person. I was so surprised and touched. Sometimes we even watch movies together online from this free movie website. Or do online puzzles together. It's nice feeling like we can do things together even when we are 8000 miles apart!

Did you get to see my bouncing boobs? :blush: It's hubby's favorite and he laughs everytime he sees it! :rofl:

That was another favorite thing I used to love sharing with my husband while waiting for the visa to process, I used to send him some of my favorite and funniest avatars, I love to search and collect new ones and have so many of them! Every day I would send a couple of avatars with a "I love you" note to his mailbox on yahoo :wub:

We never use the webcam, but we voice chat via yahoo. Somehow we both don't fancy the webcam thing. 15 days until I see him in real life. Woo hoo!
