I am sick and tired of this (both of us actually)

Since July 25th my case has been touched almost 8-9 times in less than two weeks.

Anyone has experienced such a thing or anyone knows why is it like this?

I believe it's a good sign, maybe they are working on your case and you will either get a RFE or an approval soon. :-)

If not mistaken, your case gets on an expedite processing when you upgrade from LPR to USC, as your priority date becomes current as a result of the upgrade.

Nope, no email, no online status change, in fact, the online system still showing "RFE received and processing resumed".

Lately quite a few people on VJ reported the same, no email, no status change, NOA2 showed up in the mail.

If you want to find out what happened, may be you call the RFE line, say you are concern whether you are getting a RFE.

Thank you Todd-Leah,

So I called CSC RFE line for the second time (First time didn't go to California but I got a Customer Service Rep.)

Second call was in California Service Center, he said there are no RFE on your case yet and this case has been assigned to an officer and it should be done really soon. He had all the information about me and my case and what happend and so on. I wasn't feel like to answer so many questions and he said call next week and the officer should have somthing done by then and we will let you know about the case. he was a nice guy (better than the rest).

Do you guys know how long does it take for officer to look at the assigned case and make a desicion?

My cousin is in same conditions as your, who had her file upgraded in june and her lawyer told her,she would be approved in 45 days and it has bee 50 days and counting..with no touches on her file

She should call them. I received a letter stating that it will be over at max. 60 days.

With all the touches on my file, I have a feeling that I will be done soon.(9 touches since I upgraded two weeks ago)

II) Has she informed them from her upgrade from PR to USC? they should know and they should get a copy of NC from her.

In addition, I encourage her to call up depends when she filed initially for I-130 but it might be outside of the processing time.

This is good, I can write here forever for my self. HAha,.

So today Saturday, I got another LUD early in the morning, does it mean I should get somthing out of it today? Yesterday California Service Center Rep, on the phone said that your case has assigned to an office.

So my assumption is that they should make a desicion now, right?
