Hi all, does my wife send BOTH DS156 forms back to the embassy or just one of them? I'm afraid the "instructions" for this packet 3 are not all that clear.

thanks

For the Consulate in Ghana, we were told NOT to mail any forms. They will need TWO copies of the DS-156 and usually have you wait to sign it in front of them when you go for your interview. May God bless you both and hope you can be together very soon...

Thanks purepeace. I am glad you answered me, you have made me realize that I am rushing and on the verge of making mistakes.

Am I the only one here that is totally confused with what to send back to the embassy at this time? I'm afraid I have no cooking clue what to do here, there is so much conflicting information from what I am told, what I read, and what the forms say. I have searched the VJ forums over and over and it seems everyone else understands this step perfectly. What am I missing, what am I doing wrong? :(

The same was true for my wife in Paris. She brought them with her to the interview and finished them there.Send them only what they ask for and hand carry the rest to the interview.

I replied to one of your other posts - only the signed checklist must be sent to them at this stage - everything else gets submitted at the interview. Just make sure that when you submit the signed checklist that you have complied with all requirements (have all relevant documentation they require) and scheduled your medical.

God bless

Nadia
