If your check was cashed and you have online banking, depending on your bank you can get online and check the numbers on the back of the check. You are looking for a number that says WAC (if you are at CSC) you can then use that number to sign into uscis.gov website to check the actual day of NOA 1. I think my packet was received on Aug. 4, NOA aug 5, and then I received the hard copy NOA on the 11th. So for you CSC people with checks cashed should get your hard copy any day now.

If I knew California was gonna be moving this fast, I'd have used my brother's address in Los Angeles for my paperwork. Vermont is creeping like a turtle in tar.

It goes back and forth, for a while VSC was approving in 3-4 months while CSC was taking 6...so it really all depends, I think VSC is typically faster to approve, so there is still a chance you could have your NAO 2 quicker then me, even though I have my NAO 1 first. It is really all up in the air.

Yeah that's what I thought, I always thought that Vermont processes faster than California.

Hi guys, i think we can also hang out here with u guys, we originally sent our petition to VSC on the 26th june and was received on the 28th june, we didn't hear anything until Aug 9 when we received our entire petition back from VSC because of a poorly written check, so we wrote another check and sent back the petition to VSC on Aug 11, and it was delivered and signed for by P. Novak, so i think we may also be considered an August filer, pls welcome us to the wait room
