Hope allz well we did enjoy ourselves but it was to emotional for me to say goodbye to him. I couldnt watch him leave for the US. Im home now but yes - the countdown is ON! For sure that day will come.

I just read about that one person whose NOA2 arrived in 43 days... so I guess VSC is ten thousand million times faster than CSC. Grr.

There was one VSC K1 that was approved in four days last week! I was happy for her but I sure wanted to throw something and scream for my self *guilty blush*

It's easy to get jealous of those lucky VSC filers who get fast approvals like that... but so far I haven't seen any august filers get approval at VSC yet... so for those of us who filed in august, VSC is still only about a month ahead... hardly even worth being jealous about... (OK, just kidding, even a month is a big improvement). There definitely is something going on with VSC, most likely trying to approve petitions on an as they come in basis now or something, but if that's the case they really should just work it forward from the backlog, if they can keep up they should be able to catch up by doing the petitions in the order received.

Well we got our first touch today at CSC...am I suppose to celebrate? I am not sure what just happened, but I dont feel any different than i felt yesterday. I have been reading all the posts and I thought that a touch was like getting the heebeejeebees at church.... Maybe it has not settled in yet.

It's a sign of progress, however vague that may be, at least... *something* happened... even if really all that happened was you reporting your first touch means suddenly the rest of us august filers will start looking to see if we've been touched a little more often... probably the only other person who has received a touch yet is fred, and he's going to forget his password to check the USCIS site before he actually checks to find out.... (yeah... the goal of all august filers should be to get fred to check his USCIS status at least once before december).

Sorry! ya know there is one school of thought. That "NOT" getting any touches could be a good thing. At this point we are all just guessing the method by which they process the files. But I would not get worried about not getting touched, it could very well mean that all of the evidence is there and they are in good order, and when the time comes it will be an instant NOA2 for you!! With no bumps in the road.

Sweet... now I wonder what else I can convince you to do... how about trading your tickets to the philippines in about 83 days now?... for this partially used sticky note I found on the floor of my office, the back side is totally not used at all! Sure you may say no now... but I've got a good 80 days to convince you it's a good idea still.
