We are excited to have received the following email from USCIS:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On August 4, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

We didn't even have an interview. :dance::dance: However, we are still waiting for his EAD. Hopefully it will arrive soon.

Congrats on the approval.

You won't need the EAD once the Green Card is received. Should be receiving it soon.

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

Thanks everyone. Our File was sent to Chicago Lockbox and then we received notice it was transfered to California. We were expecting the EAD not the AOS approval but we are very excited to get the AOS approval instead. Good luck to all who are still waiting.
