Which just shows that you look at this question in very emotional terms as apposed to examining the nature and ethics of it.

Darwin? Yes, I am sure that is the most logical argument you can come up with to support your blood lust and I am quite sure that you have no idea what the flaws are either.

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Putting 'emotional' in a statement doesn't magically prove your point. A well constructed argument requires a lot more than that but as trying to have a discussion with you is like having a discussion with a 16 year old, it's no more than I would expect.

I've seen much fatter than that sitting in hospital rooms with iv's in their arms. Methinks it's just a ploy to prolong the agony.

Perhaps people would be more willing to do crime if the punishment was merely life incarceration. Think about it. Free food, cable tv, gym membership. I am tired of hearing about the criminals rights when they had absolutely no regard to the rights of their victims.

It might be worth the debasement of human values were execution proven to have a deterant effect.

This somewhat popular idea that prisoner's rights somehow supercede victim's rights because one chooses not to exercise the death penalty is baffling and rather proves my point that the ethics of the case for/against the death penalty somehow eludes those who are pro death penalty.

I am never quite certain why people assume that life imprisonment would be so cozy either...

Why do they end up time and time again in prison if it is so horrible?

Do you even know this country's recidivism rate? I'll give you a clue: far more than 50%.

And that's crimes in general.

Has nothing to do with coziness or liking being in prison.

...because despite the intimidating grey-brick facade, armed guards and razor wire, inside there are lush carpets, a silver tray meal service with a choice of red or white and an excellent selection of single malts. Each prisoner also gets an English man-servant called Jeeves and a Turkish boy to light his cigar.

Wow, and I assumed its because some people like the rough and tough lifestyle there. Where can I sign up? Oh yes, I don't smoke, so does the Turkish boy give a mean massage?

No one likes being in prison. There are long term prisoners who become institutionalized which is hardly the same thing.
