WROTE TO ANOTHER CONGRESSWOMAN!

Okay, so my congresswoman's name in Maryland is Donna Edwards and i wrote to her office. I hope something happens. I spoke to someone on the phone first, then i wrote a long passionate letter. I did not request and expedite but i included news clippings of things going on in Guyana, the multiple massacres and the police brutality, the rise in traffic accidents, the corrupt government. In all i think i sent about 14 pages of stuff. I am doing this because i am tired and frustrated. My daughter will be 3 years old in September, she has yet to know what it is like to spend her birthday with her father yet she knows her Daddy and speaks to him on the phone, she deserves to be with her father and i might have kind of given up for a while but i am tired of lying in wait. I cannot just bend over and let USCIS s@@@w me up the a@@ anymore, i have to do something.

If this doesnt' work, i am going to have to plan a trip home. I miss my husband teribly and i need to see him.

I've contacted 2 senators, and 1 congressman in my attempts. So far both were telling me what I already know.....

This is why I haven't contacted any congresscritters yet - I have the sinking feeling that they won;t be able to do sh!t for me, but if I have to wait much longer beyond the 6 months after NOA1(which will be as of this Friday) then I will contact them, better than doing nothing I guess....

My congressman's office put in a request for information for me but there have been no touches indicating anything has happened in terms of USCIS doing anything to "research". It has only been a few days though. I can't say I'm optimistic but it was worth a shot.

The congressional inquiry done on my case has resulted in ZERO touches on my case. Expedite requests also resulted in ZERO touches... I think this whole "touch" thing is either overated or broken.

I applaud your efforts . do whatever you can to break through the bureaucracy and get your husband home. DON'T TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER!!!!!

Guys, don't wait more than the 180 days delay for approval. And try any senator or congressmen of any type of party till you find the right person to help you, and this, asap at this phase of the process, it's what is to be done. Good luck!!
