Anyone else out there that has submitted or will submit their N400 to TSC?

Rolltide, I was wondering when you got ur biometric notice. Did u have to call to schedule for one or did u receive it in the mail?

sent my papers on Monday, apparently they only tried to deliver them today but couldn't. what's that supposed to mean? i sure hope they are not going to send them back to me undelivered.

Did you send the package through USPS? If it was registered mail, usps will put a notice in the USCIS mail box and someone from USCIS will pick up the package. Don't worry, your package will be delivered.

I mailed our N-400 (next day express) to TSC on August 20th and they received it today at 10:42 am. It was signed by C Maxa, even though I checked waive signature on the package. Now lets see when they will cash the check.

I got it in the mail sometime last week, and also got another one on Monday..weird that I received two..they both say the same thing though.

Yes, I was a bit shocked too, but not elated..MY fingerprints came really soon while removing conditions, then nothing was done for almost a year...so just waiting..

Went to take my fingerprints on Tuesday..in and out in 10 mins...effortless!!!

I checked online to see if we had a receipt number on the back of our canceled check but it wasnt visible so I called USCIS to see if they could give us the complete receipt number. The first representative escalated my call and transferred me to an immigration officer. I told her I couldnt make out the complete receipt number, so she verified our information and requested to speak to my husband, my husband verified his name and gave her his A#, he also gave permission for her to speak to me. She told me the complete receipt number and said that it didnt work on the case status online and then she said btw your biometrics appt is scheduled for Sept 12th @ 3 pm, she verified our address again and said that we should receive the appointment letter soon.

I didnt expect a biometrics appointment so soon as it took a month for us to receive a biometric appt with our 1-751. We havent even received our NOA 1 yet. Now we need to figure out how to get to the fingerprinting place since we have never driven there before.

I hope I did this correctly, if not someone please correct it for me. I havent received a NOA 1 yet but according to the immigration officer our bio appt is scheduled for 9/12 @ 3 pm.

Today we received our NOA 1 showing a receipt date of August 22, 2008, it also said to expect an interview in about 450 days (wow i didn't think it would take over a year, is this an approximate length of time or estimated length of time?)

The NOA 1 also says our N-400 was transferred to something called NBC and that it wouldnt effect our processing time. We also received our biometric appt notice verifying that our biometrics is scheduled for 9/12/08 @ 3 pm.

I am glad we are inching closer to the grand finale, I just wish I could get my husband to study for the civics questions, he seems to think he has all this time to study so he is slowly studying.

Anyone who has gone to the USCIS in B'ham for fingerprinting is it difficult to find, I just dont wasnt to get lost as it will be our first time driving by car there.
