The beneficiary will have to send it in once it is generated. You can wait for it by mail or download it from the

website: http://www.state.gov/documents/organization/80023.pdf

For this you will need to create a barcode by using James shortcut on Visajourney.

The NVC can take upto 2 weeks to generate the DS-3032 and by the time it is mailed it can take upto 4 weeks. Another option is to email them as soon as it generated. These past couple of weeks emailing takes a while to receive a response which can be upto 2 weeks. You also need to receive an autoresponse as soon as you email which is about 1 minute later. That is to confirm that they have received the email.

If your husband is the petitioner and the agent he will need to send it to NVC but you would have to mail him all the required information from your country. You can also get more information about the steps or process by viewing the post from LOTO which is: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...22&hl=pilot

Good luck and if you need any other help you can PM me.

I don't understand, if your husband already sent them the I-864 package it means that they already received the DS-3032. The DS-3032 is for the NVC to know who to send all correspondence to and if your husband already sent the I-864, it means that they sent him the I-864 coversheet and he's the Choice of Agent.

I'm with you on this one, Diana. I'm lost.... The DS-3032 is the first form that the beneficiary (the one receiving the visa) will receive. You will have to obtain the signature from your beneficiary on Part 1 of the DS-230 and then once, everything is filled out, you will send that to the NVC. The petitioner is also responsible for the I-864 (Affidavit of Support).

To help us out though, are you the petitioner or the beneficiary?

They are wrong about the I-864. The I-864 forms always go to and come from the petitioner. After the beneficiary fills out or emails the DS-3032, depending on the choice of agent there, depends on who gets the DS-230 package. You should eventually get a DS-3032 in the mail from NVC, but if he was able to do the I-864 already, that means its was generated so you can email the DS-3032 instead of waiting for one to come in the regular mail. My husband emailed and got a reply back yesterday that they entered it, so email takes about 10 days. After they enter it, you can pay the IV bill and after that goes thru, you can send off your DS-230 package.

when emailing it, it takes about 10 days (business days so more like 2 weeks) to get an email reply saying they entered it in the system. After you get the email, the auto mated voice message at NVC will say that they entered it in the system and they will send more instructions, which means they will send a bill for the DS-230 (but you can pay this online if you want before the bill comes) and after that is paid they send the instructions for the DS-230. You can send him now the items he needs to mail back the packet.

No, that is the standard automated e-mail response that NVC sends. As long as you included that info in your email, like petitioner and beneficiary's name and DOB, case number... (the example emails that have been posted work well) then they will accept it. That email at least show they got it.

My husband sent his July 24th and he got the reply that they accepted it and entered into the system on Aug. 5th. So ours took about 12 days. In the meantime, you can get all your documents ready for the DS-230 packet if you haven't already. Find your consulate on the drop down list here http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3176.html and find out what they need. But yiyi and chris pretty much covered what they asked for in this thread. here is what she said

about the ds230,who will send it to nvc?

WE ALREADY SUBMITTER OUR DS230, YOU HAVE THE SENT THE PAPERS TO YOUR HUSBAND AND HE WILL SEND THEM TO THE NVC

what should i send to my husband?

NOTE: IF THIS IS IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE, YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT A CERTIFIED TRANSLATIONS OF ALL THE DOCUMENTS

YOU SHOULD SENT

1.ORIGINAL MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE

2.BIRTH CERTIFICATE

3.PHOTOCOPY OF YOUR PASSPORT, (PERSONAL INFORMATION PAGE)

4.PHOTOS 2X2 WITH YOUR CASE NUMBER, PETITIONER AND BENEFICIARY'S NAME, DATE OF BIRTH OF BOTH

5.POLICE CERTIFICATE

6.DS230 - (FIRST PART) SIGNED

GOOD LUCK :thumbs::thumbs::thumbs:

I guess the only thing to maybe add to that list is if you were married before, supply the divorce decree. You might want to post in the Philippines Forum for more specific advice because from what I read they do some things different but I think its done before the interview. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=129
