This is my first time calling them since i've filed my I-130.

And the lady told me that I might have to wait 3 to 4 months for my NOA2. (I was heated)

She also told me that they're still working on cases from September 2007, wow those idiots must be taking their time.

I hope they move their hands a little quicker so we can all get our approvals.

Good luck to everyone here whos been waiting for decades now. :(

She is right, that's the normal thing. They will always reference the processing dates on the website. Nothing new there. :blink:

You should ask them y do they have 1/25/08 as a received date on NOA1. Looking at other records, I think most people who are getting approval based on NOA1 date, not file sent date. So even though you sent the file in November, they will Approve the file base on the NOA1 date.... Just my thought.

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

I didn't mean to crush your hopes :( .... I am telling you what I have seen, I hope I am wrong. You guys r away from eachother for so long.....I dont know if they will do it, but I think you should ask them if it's possible to change the NOA1 date to November or early December....

I'm not sure, but it doesnt hurt to try!.. I hope they consider it... If you have a receipt or something from the courier you used to send I130, you can tell them that. This way, you can give them prove that you sent it in November... :thumbs:
