Reunited Family Visa

All VJ members who join here, they may have same reason to be together with Family or the one who love most.

are there any most difficult visa ( reunited family Visa ) to get in the world? or only for America??

why is so hard to get visa if we are family , why it takes some months, even years just to be together with Family.

Emotion, stress, finance, love, trust, patient and others , all become one .

It's mainly because there are many people worldwide who want to come live in the US that makes it difficult for the USCIS to process every petition they receive in a timely matter.

The good thing is that it will happen sooner or later and all you need to have a patience, lots of it.

It's a difficult process, for sure. But no more difficult than other countries, possibly even easier than some.

yeah maybe its harder in countries that didnt discover paper and ink.

I was reading somewhere on this board that the marriage visa process in the EU takes around 30 days.

When my USC husband moved here (Ireland) three years ago, he didn't even need a visa! He came on a one-way ticket, immigration asked him why he was here, he said "I am marrying an Irish girl.", officer smiled and that was that. Got married a month later (residency requirement- be in Ireland for 30 days before wedding), wandered down to the Aliens Office, showed them our marriage cert, waited 15 minutes and he had a work permit and 10 year Irish "green card".

Well like we all know USA have suffered from terrorist attacks... that's why they have to be more carefull than any other country in the world, but we have to admit that at least this year with the 50% more workers at CSC it has been a lil faster after March... is incredible to see May filers being approved on July or August....

Before getting married to my wonderful husband i never thought of living in USA and now i can't wait to be there... My entire life is there... and this Slow/fast (for them) process is killing us

My husband and I spent months trying to get me a temporary resident card in Russia. We spent endless hours in lines at the immigration office only to be sent to a bank where we spent endless hours in line to pay the fees. Return to immigration office (same day) wait in line for hours again only to be told by the grouchy woman at desk 2 that desk 1 had given us the wrong paper and charged us the wrong fee so we must start all over again. After doing this silly game for several weeks we were told all was in order and to return in 3 months for the paperwork for step 2. When we returned in 3 months they opened our file and said they hadn't processed anything because we were given the WRONG paperwork and paid the WRONG fees!!! At least in America we can do it all on the computer.............
