electronic file from NVC

Hi can you please advice how long will it take for the USE to receive hardcopy of our papers from NVC. I spoke with a person in the USE just now and I was told that they only have the electroninc copy and that I have to call back again after two weeks to schedule for the interview. Our case left NVC last August 1, 2008.

I spoke with a person in the USE just now and I was told that they only have the electroninc copy and that I have to call back again after two weeks to schedule for the interview. Our case left NVC last August 1, 2008.

Usually 3-5days, then give the embassy another 1-2days to encode your data on their file.... if their system is in order, you can try calling next week to set up interview sched.... the "call again after 2 WEEKS" is just a standard answer if they still don't have your file.
