If USEM and NSO can coordinate doc handling AFTER DV then why can't they do it before-hand and eliminate the need for a courier like Delbros? It seem like a complete waste of time and money, let alone the aggravation it has caused to so many couples. I'll never understand why our governments work the way they do :bonk:

correct! there are some more reliable courier than Delbros! actually, me and my fiance havent heard of Delbros not until it became a part of our K1 journey.

they suck!

these people..ggeezzz...they need to learn phone etiquette ..

Well, for NSO having no idea about customer service is I think normal--gov't office, what can you expect: PRC, NSO,, hayyy

I hope your verification result will be with USEM when your interview comes. Good luck sau.

hhaayyy..yeah... take note! these are government offices and they fail to have the basics of phone etiquette. even the simple greetings and informing what office have we reached calling, they dont do that. they just pick up the fone and say.."HELLO".. how can u respect such people

though we can take their lack on that IF ONLY they give credible informations but no, they fail that as well!

minsan naiisip ko nga sana may mag sumbong sa imbestigador o xxx dyan sa mga yan eh! ( well i dont know if that will work)

Now my wife has called last 2 days and now they stoped answering there phone lol, so now the customer is cut off completly from knowing whats going on. Is anyone else not getting through when calling delbros?

yes keep calling. if you are hold then just be patient to wait. when i called, i squeeze them to explain why there are 2 dates of delivery. they did hold my call for more than 5 min and informed me the reason why.

be firm yet respectful when you talk.. mean business when calling these people

Hello vj's, I spoke with Ms. Grace of USEM just now to inquire about the status of our case if NVC forwarded our petition alrdy to MNL consulate, she seemed nice to me though. Anyways, like all of us here, I am also concern about this Doc. Verifications aspect; I am trying to avoid delays since we have been waiting for so long. Anyways, unfortunately our case still on process waiting to be transferred electronically to their system but according to Ms. Grace, I can now pay the docs. veri. Despite the fact our case has not been forwarded yet by NVC since we have an interview date set on Sept. 10, per her I will inform them thru text of the deposit payment made and wait for their confirmation via text as well. I am quite hesitant to pay delbros this time, but I'd like to know if anybody here has the experience of paying delbros w/o the docs from NVC and been successful of doing so? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hello!!! i paid it after i get the confirmation snail mail from the USEM. i think some vj peeps have done paying the DV as soon as they got their MNL number. just my opinion..i think its better to wait for the confirmation snail mail from the USEM before paying DV. i just thought how can the USEM sends a request to delbros to forward a request for DV to NSO if they dont have your application on hand yet.

Hi I paid mine yesterday even if the embassy has not yet receive the hardcopy from NVC. I called up USE and they only have the electronic copy (as of yesterday). I believe the hardcopy is on its way to USE. I did pay anyway. I don't know if this will help expedite the DV process but if ever the USE has already received the hardcopy I can just follow up on Delbros and tell them that I paid on this date blah blah blah. I hope it will work though. God bless

My DV request was forwarded by DELBROS to NSO on July 10. I paid my DV June 26. IT took DELBROS 2weeks before they sent the request. I don't know how they do it, but they never explained why and how. Now, for 3 consec. Mondays from July 21 to Aug 4 I kept calling NSO for follow ups. I always look for PJ bec he's really accomodating. First 2 mondays, he told me that it is still in process and that he is not sure when it will be released, but they do it every friday since USE do the pick-up. Last Monday, Aug 4, PJ told me that "he thinks" my DV was released last friday, Aug 1. I called the USE just this afternoon to check if they really have it, Karen (USE CallCenter) told me that it is still in process bec my DV is not yet with them and that it is still with NSO, she even told me that processing takes 8weeks and that after 8weeks and still no response from them, I can call them up again to verify the status or email them through their website. Now what??? who's telling the right thing? When I first called NSO they told me that DV processing takes 2-3weeks. Mine is already 3wks last friday. So maybe its not done yet with NSO or USE system is not updated? IS it okay to pick-up the visa, rather than wait for DELBROS delivery??? I am really tired of waiting. I will not refund the visa delivery fee na nman.

Hi HenryMaricor! May kasabay ka sa July 4 DV..my friend, Ate Nica, some1 I met sa Medical at St Lukes. Sa kanya rin wala pa until now Visa nia. I will be the one to call na nga sa NSO for her status kc She's from Camarines Sur pa. Pero interview date nia July 17. Mas late interview nia. Sabay pla tyo sa Interview...sayang...di kc ako masyado active dito nung una e...sa female.network ako lagi. Ok pla dito mas marami akong mala2man. Isa dun is mas maganda pla if you pay the DV fee 1mo. b4 interview...Haaaaay Kung alam ko lang talaga. Kainis talaga ang dami kong hinayang. Try ko ulit tumawag sa USEmbassy pero sa direct line na nila. Ask ko na lng Ms Grace sa status, I guess mas updated ata cla sa loob kesa sa Call Center nila. Did you try calling NSO? kena Richard or PJ? Mas maganda kc tumawag sa kanila every Monday kc every friday yung release nila ng DV results to USE.

if your DV was sent back to the embassy, your case is at the last leg of processing. the DV is the embass making sure that the papers brought in by the applicants are not forgeries. this is where delbros come in. delbros coordinates with the NSO for the DV.

in summary, you pay the DV fee at metrobank, delbros gets the money, slacks off for a week or so then sends the DV form to the NSO. now the NSO processes the DV, basically your civil status in pinas. when the NSO has processed your DV, it then forwards the results to the embassy. when its at the embassy, the CO then revisits your case and ultimately allows your visa to be printed. after that, the visa packet goes back to delbros for delivery to you.

Yeah, pain in the *** system. This was my post before: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=136137

WOW!! ako lang yata ang walang complain sa DELBROS!! Thank GOD everything works according to plan!!

After i paid DV back last May 5,2008 I texted them once! I got 2 replys and stopped! When I went back from vacation May 16th I got the DHL mail and my fiance (husband now) called the USEM for interview appointment, I then followed up NSO if my papers arrived their office..luckily they gave me infos that its on process. I was too confident that my papers are in USEM the moment i had my interview and thanks God..I only got the pink slip! Love works in mysterious ways...

To the OP "shes"... if you already got the REAL infos from the NSO then I suggest give them a break..I'm saying REAL info ok? As I can see in your time line your interview will soon be approaching..relax! I am quite sure you will have the pink slip alone!

Good Luck! Pray harder.. God will do the rest!
