I'm about to fly back to Europe today, which feels weird given that I've left Germany just a few weeks ago to move back here. But I'm going to Istanbul next week to participate in a conference. I've never been there and am very exited. :dance: Has anyone ever travelled to Istanbul and can offer some sightseeing-tips?

been thru istanbul airport, never was in the city itself. be careful there. and watch the cab drivers, they will try to rip you off (one tried with me back in 96). viel gluck.

Thanks for the advice so far. I am going to see a Sufi ceremony in the Blue Mosque my second night there, so I got that covered already...

The flight back here was annoying, but I made it after all. Germany is trying to proof again that it can outrain IN; surprise, surprise. :P
