I got the following email today. What is the next thing I need to do? Thanks,

Current Status: DOCUMENT OTHER THAN CARD OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT MAILED TO APPLICANT

On August 4, 2008, your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of August 4, 2008, contact our customer service at 1-800-375-8283. If you move while your case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your address.

Sorry no idea what that means? Did you already send petition? Did you get NOA2 yet? How about NOA1???

Ahh just looked at your timeline and maybe that is packet 3 that has been sent out? I really don't know since I am still waiting on NOA2 sorry....

Does packet 3 come from uscis or NVC?

i thought the packet 3 came from the embassy? :unsure: has your packet definatly reached the nvc already and do you still get updates on your case from the uscis online account after noa2 for the nvc parts and such? :unsure: i'm curious cos we havent got there yet.

We also received the same email.We got approved last July 22(email) but we dont have yet the hard copy, we already have our new case number from NVC,we're wondering what's this all about.

I was thinking that maybe they've just mailed us our copy of NOA2,just my guess.

You need to call NVC(603-334-0700-press 1 then 5 in order to talk to the live operator) in order to get your new case number.
