Timing for payment of fees (Manilla Embassy)

We anticipate receiving NOA2 next month. My question is this: Do we need to wait until AFTER receiving NOA2 before we pay the Visa Processing fee and the Document Verification fee at the bank in the Philippenes? I have heard reports of people going to their interviews only to find that the record of their fee payments, or document verification processes were not available even though they had paid them 4 or 5 weeks before the interview. So, I am wondering if we can just go ahead and pay those fees NOW using our I-129F number while we are still waiting for our NOA2 .... or is there some special "other" case number that will be on the NOA2 that we need to have before we can pay the fees?

Without your NVC case number (not on NOA2 from USCIS) (MNLXXXXXXXXXX) the bank will not be able to receipt your payment.

hi!

you can pay your document verification as soon as you will have your MNL case number and please dont forget to always do follow ups with them. in our case, we paid the visa application fee after we got an interview schedule.
