called my bank and still not cashed yet...

No I went to my online banking and saw it posted after midnight last night. So I called my bank and ask them for the 3 letters and 10 digits. I went and registered it online with the link a couple of posts before and it showed me they actually are counting from August 7th. I know they received both of our packages within a day of each other. So I wanted to tell you....

You're not the only one waiting. My check hasn't been cashed yet and no NOA1. I filed 4 days after you did, though, so I'm just hanging in there .

Vermont has been taking their time cashing checks lately so I wouldn't worry too much if you're left waiting a bit. You wont be able to get your EAC/WAC number off of a bank check. You should receive your hardcopy NoA1 (I-797) Grab a chair and big ole cup of patience. Welcome to the waiting room.

P. Novak signed for me also. Well, I sent in a second package that they received July 28 and they cashed my check yesterday August 12. I wasted a month on th elost petition, but I'm glad I sent in a replacement after only 4 weeks.

good news guys!!! my dad just called me to tell me i got some mail from USCIS.

not sure if it's the NOA1 because he didnt know but he said it has a case number on it and the letter informs me that the check was cashed!!!
