i'm a july filer and no touchs or approvoal yet!!!

my timeline:

we received our NOA 1 : JULY 29th and i'm still waiting...

We're still waiting too! Our NOA1 was July 31st. Hang in there. I know it's frustrating to see other people getting approved while you get not even a touch!

its really stressful but we are trying to take it easy ...

We received packet but already had everything ready and I called to find out if the embassy had received our stuff. I didn't wait to receive packet 3 only found out when the embassy received the paperwork and then faxed the papers they wanted. We already received packet 4 and interview for January 28. It probably saved me a couple of weeks.

Yesterday my Fiance got the notice that packet 3 was rec'd. Now waiting on Packet 4 and interview letter. Hoping for early February Date on interview. The embassy in Bogota responds very quick from my experience so far. DAS (Colombian Dept Security) is having a problem w one of their systems, hoping this doesnt hold us or others up too long.

Just checking in to see if others have gotten their NOA2? I am now past 6 months and no word, but I did call and recieved the response, nothing is wrong with my petition and not to worry. Gentleman said, they probably found something and wanted to double check or they're still checking things out and it's normal for some people. He also told me, since it's been 6 months and still no RFE, then that is good news, as most time they send out an RFE soon after receiving your package. So, here I sit preparing letters to my Senators, to see if they can at least inquire and I might see some activity on my petition.
