Just got an email today saying my noa2 was approved :D

Do I just wait for the mail now or is there something I should start doing?

have you got all your affadavit of support organised, tax returns etc ?

I know the UK sends out a packet 3 with a list of documents to get sorted so would imagine it's fairly similar for you guys have a scoot round on VJ for what you need to prepare for the interview!!

Aug 09.......... Packet sent back b'cos of poor written check

Aug 11...........Resent packet to VSC

Aug 12...........Package deliverd and signed for by P. Novak

Aug 14...........NOA1

Aug 18...........Check cashed...(Pheeeeew)

Aug 19...........Touched!

Aug 20...........NOA1 Hard copy

Dec 01...........Touched (due to my change of address)

JAN 06 2009...NOA2 ( case approved ) wooohhhhhhoooooo!!!!!!!

MAR 04 2009...Interview.(WE ARE NOT WORRIED BECAUSE GOD IS IN CONTROL.....YAY)

MAR 28 2009...Returning to the USA with wife-to-be.

MAR 29 2009...POE (IAH) Intercontinental Airport Houston (2nd day arrival )

APR 10 2009....Our Glorious Wedding (Good Friday, How cool uh?)

When he says yes, nobody says no, believe in him my Lord is able..............

Have you checked with NVC/DOS to see if file been sent to the Embassy?

Does the embassy website give an indication of how quickly they get pkt 3 out? or perhaps its worth calling them?

they will send your petition to NVC and it will take about a week and then the NVC will send your petition to the USA embassy in Cairo and it will take about a week or 10 days till they send you packet 3

Just be aware it may take longer. Ours and a few others have been there since 19th November.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Today its about month now since we received the NOA2 it worries me, but i think this is holiday season everywhere so the delay is reasonable

i hope i get this soon ..

Timeline:

K-1

07/30/08- I-129F was delivered to Vermont

08/11/08- NOA1

12/14/08- NOA2

02/11/09 Interview (Approved!)

03/07/09 POE at JFK

03/13/09 Married!

AOS

04/08/09- NOA1 for AOS and EAD (we didn't apply for AP)

04/22/09- Case Transferred to CSC

04/24/09- Biometrics Appointment

05/22/09- EAD card production ordered

05/29/09- EAD approval notice sent

06/01/09- EAD arrived in the post

06/18/09- I-485 RFE notice via email

06/25/09- I-485 RFE notice via mail

(They wanted him to redo medical exam- they must've lost it. They also wanted a copy of our marriage certificate, even though we included that in our original submission.)

07/03/09- Medical exam (second one this year grrr!)

07/06/09- I-485 RFE response mailed back to CSC via USPS

07/08/09- I-485 RFE response package delivered at CSC

07/10/09- I-485 Case Processing Resumed (CRIS email)

07/16/09- I-485 Card Production Ordered

07/21/09- I-485 Approval Notice Sent

07/24/09- Green card received in the post!
