If the date that's displayed differs from your official NOA1 date, you've been touched. I don't believe your lawyer would be notified separately, it would show up on your USCIS account. Keep in mind that there will only ever be one date displayed. It's not like a list of dates appear, the numbers will just change. If it hasn't been touched, don't fret! Lots of people go through the process with few, if any touches. They're not an incredibly accurate reflection of what's being done with your file.

Your application has arrived safe and sound so just relax and be glad that the process has officially begun! :)

I understand, :) thank you so much for your answer.

I will try to relax and wait....

Hello everyone. Hope everyone is doing well. I have a question for anyone who has traveled during the paperwork process. We have received our NOA1 and are patiently (not really) awaiting our NOA2. Alan would like to come over for about 3 or 4 weeks around the holidays this year, but we are not sure if this is possible. We have tried e-mailing the Sydney consulate because they usually respond within a few hours, but we havent got a real direct answer. Has anyone traveled during this process? He will be coming from Australia to Florida. Can we do this during this process or do we have to wait?

Yes, you can travel with VWP for up to 90 days but even with a valid visa it is at the discretion of the POE officer to 'let you in' and allow you to visit. Don't mention the K1 unless asked... bring plenty of ties to AUS and hope for the best. Many can and do travel with no problems as they wait. It's in the FAQ's and there are posts everywhere about it just search for it. ;)

Kim and Russ, Thank you so much for the information. Alan will definitely bring lots of proof to show hes going back to Australia, I just hope if we spend 2,500.00 on a plane ticket, they dont turn us away. Thanks again. Laura and Alan

Hi everyone, I have just found this topic and am so excited to see so many of you that have filed in July. I am going crazy here wondering what is happening and how things are going for others around us.

I am a USC and my fiance is British :) .. We filed through a lawyer , our I129 was recieved on July 18th, Our reciept was on July 31.. .. Have checked the website and it does show a august 5 date but in the comments it just talks about the letter being sent out on the 31st of july... Does this mean that it was touched on the 5th of august? sorry am new to all of this and trying to take it all in :)

I am in England with my brit now , been here almost 3 months and am here for another 3. I dont want to return without him so am praying that things move on quickly but also being prepared for them not to.

Good luck to everyone and I hope all of us July couples get our visas quickly

Hi, I'm just wondering if your fiance has traveled back into the USA while the I-129f is in progress

I was intending on going over to visit my fiance but from information I got from the US consulate here in

Sydney Australia and the US it's up to the people at your POE whether or not they'll let you in. could you please

let us know if you encounter any problems at all, I really hope everything goes ok for you both
