My check was cashed yesterday for my I129F but when I check case status the form # is CR189 and Form Title is PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED. Im kinda worried is this correct?

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Case received and pending.

Current Status: Case received and pending.

That doesn't sound right, Ghorabaa; ours gave the application type of I129-F like you'd think. I wonder if you have the correct number? Ours was hard to read from the back of the check -- perhaps you've misread the number or transposed it when entering it online?

I just double checked it and the number seems like its right from the check. I can verify once I get the actual NOA1. Im going to try and call them anyways to see if I can get anymore info.

YAY!!!

Grats!!!! I'm so happy for you, but I still haven't seen anything. I'm still in Egypt, but my mom called my bank few days ago and still nothing. Maybe in a few days it'll get cashed. :) Anyway, i'm happy for the both of you. :)

YAY!!!! My mom called for me today and she said, the check was cashed on 8/5. She is going to town later and get a copy of the back so we get the numbers off of it. Vermont is moving along it seems and I bet the rest of you guys are right behind those of us that has had our checks cashed. :)

O.K. My daughter just called me and I received the NOA1 hard copy today. I went online and signed up for emails to be sent to me concerning my case and it shows I received a touch on 8/6/08. Now time to plant my feet firmly and get ready for the long, hard wait. :(

Guys i have been mad all the while not receiving my NOA1, and it was all for my silly mistake, i receive my whole application back in the mail today because of my check was mis-spelt in words, actually one ommition, i'm happy though, cos' i know my application is not lost. I'll send it back with a correct check over-night on monday to the address provided, it's the same st. albans but different department.

June 26..........Sent I-129F to VSC

June 28..........Received @ VSC

Aug 09.......... Packet sent back b'cos of poor written check

Aug 11...........Resent packet to VSC

Aug 12...........Package deliverd and signed for by P. Novak

Hi everybody,

We have filed in July to, on the 8th. They received it on July 31st. Does this mean that's our NOA1?

We are using a lawyer, cause at the time that we started with gathering all the information it looked like a good idea...

she's doing her job good so far, but it wasn't really necessary to file through a lawyer.

Anyhow.... good luck to all of you :thumbs: ... hopefully the waiting won't be too long!

Our cheque has been cashed on August 6. :wow: At least something after 2 weeks...

We already have the case number, and now waiting for NOA1 hard copy.
