July K-1 Filers, VERMONT Only Plz....

We are July filer also. We sent our petition last June 27 and they got it June 30 so i considered July filer I think. We got NOA1 on July 24 and cash check on the 28 and recieved NOA1 snail mail on July 29. To all still waiting for their NOA1, have faith ok. You will get yours soon.

Sent in my petition June 23rd and no check cashed no NOA1 yet.

I just got off the phone with them and no record in their system. On the phone prompts it says it could take up to 30 days. Then I get a person on the phone and they claim that it can take up to 90 days! or it could be the case that the petition was forwarded to another service center, coz Vermont may or may not be very busy?

It's truly unbelievable that a packet received after another could be processed first. I tried to make the agent explain to me how this is possible, but really she had no clear answer.

Do you now what is the telephone number of VSC?I want to inquire about my case.

Hey pacificG, i wish i knew it, cos' i would like to talk to someone at VSC my self, it's be 1 month and 8 days we filed, i've seen people in K1 history getting approval in just a month, here we are our packet is just sitting some where eating dust every day

Hey guys, i was just going through the documents i submitted with our K1 petition to the VSC, i made copies of everything including the cheque, now i noticed i made a mistake on my cheque, i put "$455:00", which is correct, but i miss spelt it in words i wrote " four hundred and fifty" instead of "four hundred and fifty five", what do u think guys/ could this be the reason it has not been cashed yet? pls help

I think there is a good chance that might be the cause of the delay. Call the 1800 number and explain them about your case. They might just suggest you to refile

Thanks to all you guys that have posted. I sent mine off on 7/10 and they received it 7/14. I haven't seen anything yet from them, but someone who filed on 7/7 I think has gotten a NOA1. So, maybe they're getting to them now. It's August now, maybe they'll get to moving with all those packets. The longer something lays around the longer it's able to get lost.

I sent out my package on the 3rd July thru regular mail & my check got cashed on the 30th...Got my NOA1 yesterday... VSC rite now is processing April & early may petitions, so it will probably take us two to three months to get our NOA2.

Keep follow up the USCIS as much as you can. Until you get the right person who will answer your questions.

Another July filer through VSC.

Packet received 19th July.

At least I can see from all other replies that VSC have slowed up a little at the moment, panic will set in shortly if NOA1 not received!
