Is it possible for a foreign fiance/e to work legally while he/she is on k1 visa and not married yet?

I read that one can apply for work permit (EAD) but may not get it within 90 days of time limit,

so till one gets EAD / work permit if one wants to work he has to work illegally right?

Also after marriage ...one can work legally or one has to wait till he/she gets green card?

How much time it takes to get a green card after marriage?

I read that after getting green card you are automatically allowed to work in USA , is this correct?

K1s can apply for AOS, EAD and AP all at the same time. You may get the GC before either the EAD or AP and won't need either.

However if the AOS is delayed and you get the EAD and AP you can work with the EAD and leave and return to the US with the AP until you get the GC.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

AP = Advanced Parole, to be able to travel outside the US before the green card arrives.
