can a foreign fiancee work immediately after marriage?

If you didn't go through JFK and get a work authorization stamp on your passport, then no, you can't work at all right now. After you get married, you can then apply for AOS, AP and EAD. It's all included now in the same package for one fee. Sometimes there are delays, but normally you can expect your EAD around 3 months after applying.

I highly doubt if anyone would hire you without proper work authorization. If they do, they, as well as you would be working illegally.
