Agreed. Unfortunately, many of those 'representing' the realness of actual 'white power' movements have a weird delusion that their movement equals [fill in your best interpretation] pride. Which it does not. And many attempt to foolishly hide in perpetuation of those same racial stereotypes and prejudice that do continue to plague our societies one way or another.

Ironically, in every single argument of "white pride", or any analogous "white history month" argument I've encountered is always about disavowal or criticism or hatred of other races. Not about actually being positive or educational about "white" accomplishments, whatever that may be. Just a piss and moan fest.

And by simple logic if you are angered by all people having equal access in a real sense of the word equal then it shouldn't be too harsh to think that what ails you is a case of actually liking inequality.

Speaking of pissing and moaning... how about that nasty thunderstorm last night?? Crazy!!

I think I've found a good way to solve this black/white/brown/whatever stupidity. Instead of making holidays for individual groups or even saying "I'm proud of being [insert race here]" just use the word HERITAGE.

"Heritage" covers it all and it doesn't point to one particular group. It could mean white or black, for instance. It doesn't say! But it does mean your family's background and ancestry, so it covers the same thing without the inflammatory language.

So why not have a "Heritage Day" in the United States? That way, nobody can complain. Who is it pointing to? Who knows?! Blacks can't claim it and neither can whites. It's not racist. Furthermore, stating that you're "proud of your heritage" means you are proud to be who you are, and while that probably include race, it may not attach other factors you disagree with but have also become associated with your group.
