Bahamian Goombay Smash

3/4 oz. Rum, coconut (Ole Nassau)

1 1/4 oz. Rum, dark

1/4 oz. Triple Sec

1/4 oz. Lemon Juice

3 oz. Pineapple Juice

1 whole Cherries/Maraschinos

1 wedge Lemon

1 dash Sugar Syrup

Mixing Instructions

Shake well. Serve in Hurricane glass w/cracked ice, a cherry and a sliced lemon on top

  • 2 mangos peeled seeded and cubed
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen piña colada mix thawed
  • 1 tablespoon dark rum

  1. In a large bowl combine mango cubes, blueberries, piña colada mix and rum. Into 4 martini glasses or dessert dishes spoon fruit mixture dividing evenly. Garnish with blueberries, mango slices and thin lime slices ( I don't do alcohol so I would use juice instead.)

Dang, I'm just tuning in. I guess the surf is low and the sea shells have gone to bed. Oh well, I guess the party was GNARLY DUDES!!!!!!. But I did have a cold BUD LIGHT!!!! YUMMY!!!!

There are a few kinds that you can make...

Here is what you will need:

1 part Bacardi Rum ...your choice

  • Original Bacardi Rum
  • Razz Rum (Raspberry)
  • O (Orange)
  • Limon (Lime)
  • Peach Red Rum (Peach)
  • Grand Melon (Watermelon)
  • Apple
  • Big Coco (Coconut)
  • 8 Mojito

3 parts Club Soda

12 mint leaves

1/2 lime

1/2 part sugar

Serving instructions:

Place 12 mint leaves, 1/2 part sugar and 1/2 lime in a glass. Muddle well with a pestle. Add Bacardi, top off with club soda, stir well and garnish with sprigs of mint and:

  • lime wheel (Original or 8 Mojito)
  • rasberry & lime wheel (Razz)
  • lime or orange wheel (O)
  • lime or lemon wheel (Limon)
  • peach slice (Peach Red)
  • lime wheel or watermelon slice (Melon)
  • lime wheel or green apple slice (Big Apple)
  • coconut and mint (Coco)

and enjoy!!!!! :dance:

That is just so cute.

Thanks ZI ZI, I will be there when I get back from vacation. I am only at the office to do a presentation then back to selclusion. I am in an area without cell phone reception or internet. Can you imagine just a house on the lake with Lots of geese, ducks, and loons? I have canoed and kayaked so far. I flipped over fully dressed in the kayak in just a foot of water. My son got a great laugh. Tomorrow I will try to use the sail boat.

I live 5 minutes from 7 miles of sandy beach. Next time I will have the party.
