CSC taking soooooooooooooo long with AOS

Is anyone having problems with their case being transferred to California and then not being touched for ages. I filed my I485 in January and then it got transferred in february and touched in march and there hasn't been anything else with ever since. I called uscis and they said I still have 35 more days til I can report something as normal waiting time is 180 days. This is killing me. I'm suppose to leave the country to get married at the end of the month and I'm afraid that there will be a brideless wedding.

I applied for an AP but i'm wondering if i'll get it before I leave. I applied in July. Do they look at the dates you need to leave? Can they speed it up?

Is anyone in the same boat? I don't know what to do.

i think AP should come around the end of august/early september...

Do you think I can leave the country and hopefully when i'm away, receive my AP and use that to come back? do they check for your AP when you leave the country?

no.. don't leave the country...

it's too risky and they are probably able to tell when they sent it and compare it as when you leave the country.

well personally i would not risk it.

delay the wedding instead... i think would be my best advice (even if it's not fun to hear)
