The timelines are just not updated enough to get an accurate idea. There are so many only partially filled out!!

Can anyone who has recently or is going to Vancouver tell me how long it takes from leaving NVC to interview? Please???

*January 24 2006 - mailed in I129-F petition

*January 25 2006 - I129-F received at CSC

*January 30 2006 - packet returned.....arggggggggg we forgot one signature!!

*January 31 2006 - sent I129-F back to the CSC, hope we did not forget anything else

*February 1 2006 - I129-F received at CSC again

*February 3 2006 - NOA1

*April 20 2006 - NOA2!!!!!

*April 24 2006 - Touched!

*May 15 2006 - NVC received petition today!

*May 17 2006 - Case left NVC today!!

*May 30 2006 - Received Packet 3 from Vancouver!

*May 30 2006 - Faxed back Packet 3!!

*June 6 2006 - Received packet 4!

*June 20 2006 - Medical in Saskatoon

*June 28 2006 - Interview in Vancouver!!

*June 28 2006 - GOT THE VISA!!!*June 30 2006 - Moving day!

*July 3 2006 - Home at last!!

Can anyone who has recently or is going to Vancouver tell me how long it takes from leaving NVC to interview? Please???

I had my interview on May 09 and our petition was approved (NOA2) in January. Got Packet 3 beginning of February, but it took me a while to have all the papers needed for the interview. So it also depends a lot on you how fast you can put everything together after you get Packet 3. If I were you, I would start gathering documents even before you get Packet 3.

I e-mailed them mid April that I have everything ready and they gave me May 09 for my interview. Vancouver consulate is really good, staff is pleasant and efficient. Good luck with everything and feel free to ask me any questions about Vancouver experience ( I also posted it in Consulate Review section)

We have almost everything for packet 3. So hopefully we can get it faxed back same day. I am praying we can move by july for the start of school.

My timeline is up to date and fairly recent, if that helps.

ETA: Also, we requested May 30th as our interview date, because we had other important commitments the week before. The interviews are currently being scheduled about 4 weeks out from the return of Packet 3, as best as I can tell.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.
